Highlights
  • Hard Rock Cafe - Back in 1971, Americans Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton opened the first Hard Rock Cafe in London. Their landlord didn’t think they could pull it off, so he granted them a three-month lease.

How wrong that landlord was. Today, the franchise - which includes cafes, casinos and hotels - can be found in more than 63 countries. The franchise owns the world’s greatest collection of music memorabilia, and you can see it on display at its locations around the globe.

Food was outstanding. - We had a wonderful experience at the Hard Rock Cafe. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. We loved our waitress. She was so nice and polite. The only con would be that the cocktail drinks were a little expensive. ($14 each)

Hard Rock with an awesome view! - Typical Hard Rock Cafe atmosphere with music and lots of memorabilia on the walls, music videos playing on monitors throughout the restaurant. Food is great! We went around 2-3 pm on a weekday - not too busy, and we easily got a table for 4 near the large windows in the back. This is the place to sit - the view of the city is breathtaking!

Just needed a salad - After a week on the road we wanted a salad for dinner, something healthy and I have to say they have nice salads here. We had the grilled chicken Caesar and the Southwestern Chicken bowl. Both were big and tasty. Again, my pet peeve is that the food came out in under 5 minutes. Service was friendly. We sat at the bar and you can actually bet on the video horse racing which was fun.

Good place to relax and enjoy good food - My wife and I stopped by for an early dinner and was glad we did. We were seated out back where we could watch the water fountain and listen to the music while people watching. My wife had the BBQ pork sandwich while I had the :Pittsburg pierogis with sausage. Both were very good. Our server, Melissa took good care of us. We both enjoyed ourselves and were glad we came here.

Average dining experience - I have always enjoyed visiting Hard Rock Cafes when I visit different cities. This one was not one of my favorites. The menu seemed pretty limited. Prices were high for the size of the portions. The food was average - I had pasta and it was pretty bland. Service and atmosphere were fine. I would probably not visit this particular location again.

Ok food but neat atmosphere - The food was just OK and pricey We had bbq wings, steak salad, grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese fries. It came to 73$ The atmosphere is neat and they have a little shop with souvenirs but we won’t be stopping again.

Expensive, small portions, slow service. - The atmosphere was great, but the food portions were very small and the prices were very expensive - $63 (without tip) for one appetizer, a burger with fries, a kids meal, and 2 cokes. The service was also very slow and there were only a few tables in the restaurant. Will try another restaurant when we're in that part of town next time.

Horribly embarrassing and stressful - It was a horrible experience. I was not told by VIATOR that I needed to make reservations on my own for the Hard Rock Cafe. They were going to seat us in an outdoor room. I requested through VIATOR when asked in making the reservation. I had a 2 hour wait, because of all the confusion, with undisclosed info on VIATOR’s end. It made for an anxiety ridden experience for me. I never anticipated that the experience was going to be as it turned out. Definitely, not a good experience for someone visiting Pittsburgh to have. Or for that matter, a Pittsburgh resident to experience. It was very embarrassing trying to explain the voucher to the staff while people were lining up behind me.
