The Guide Makes The Tour! - Met at a beautiful church to start the tour. Roman, our tour guide took us to many ethnic restaurants and markets. He was very knowledgeable as to the history of each business. My only quibble is the amount of food we would get was not as described in the brochure. The best part of our tour was our guide. He was entertaining and a very good listener to us old folks.

It was ok. - The food tour included going into a spice store to look at a old picture on a wall, going to an olive oil store sampling oil in small cups, and several of the food establishments included us sampling publicly available samples.

Disappointing - Got free samples could have done the same thing and not paid for tickets... hate to say it but tour guide was inexperienced

Awkward, did not enjoy. - Our guide was young and inexperienced. It was not fun and we did not feel comfortable with him. While he was friendly, he was awkward and lacked in the way of knowledge of the area and a true understanding of the strip district and had no real idea about the food and history. He just said everything was the « best ». Other than few points about each location he could not go into any detail and we honestly couldn’t bare asking him any questions. We couldnt wait for it to end. The sausage place was not opened which was part of our intinetary. We hardly covered any ground and this was way too much for the level of experience and the tour itself. Please offer us a partial refund, we would appreciate.

The tour was not worth $90.00 per ticket - Tour guide Sonny was condescending but not sure if he even knew he was doing it. He addressed us as girls not ladies plus he made a remark of my weight when he told the lady I was eating so fast I was about to swallow the spoon.

Not worth money - Not much food for $70. Thought there would be small samples at lots of places. Turns out it is small samples at very view places. Tour guide Phil was nice enough

This is a waste of money!! - We went on this tour and while the tour guide was a nice, young man, it fell far short of what we were expecting because we've been on several other food tours in other areas of the USA. This one we only sat down once, was never offered any water to drink, and we received so little food that we ended up going out to eat after. One of the stops was to get a sugar coated mini donut!! And how do you just taste olive oil without any bread? The stories about the culture and area was lacking totally. This was a waste of time and money. The company needs to train their guides to do a much, much better job than this. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Don't go with this company!!! We didn't get what they advertised and feel we should get our money back.

Don’t do this tour it is a ripoff - This tour is not a food tour it is going to places to get free samples from businesses that would be giving free samples anyways. Guide was late uninformed and didn’t know where they were going most of the time. It was 100 percent ripoff. Be aware that this. The people that we were with knew more than our guide.

Absolutely Terrible - My wife and I have been on quite a few food tours in various states, but without even being close, this is the WORST we have ever been on. All previous food tours we have been on included sit down tastings or food at selected restaurants, and by the time the tour is over, you are very full. On this tours website, they have scale in pictures of 1-5 with 1 being hungry and 5 stuffed. They rate this tour as a 4. Couldn't be farther from the truth. We sat only 1 time during the tour at the 1 place you could use a bathroom. My memory of the "highly and nutritious" samples along the way included a slice of cinnamon bread, one cookie, 3 small slices of assorted deli meat, taste of dip, bite of cheeses. The time we actually sat down was a small pepperoni roll. Most times the tour guide held a little plate that you took a sample off. When the tour was over, we went to find a bathroom and get something to eat. Skip this! Waste of time and money.

What a joke! - Having been on food tours in the past, this tour fell far below expectations. The tour guide was not knowledgeable of the local history or area. The food was lacking (free samples, other tours we've been on have served substantial portions). The businesses we visited were extremely busy, our small group seemed like a nuisance to the businesses that were already busy with customers. The guide had absolutely no rapport or connection to the shops. The tour does a disservice to the Strip District area of Pittsburgh. Which we discovered (on our own after the tour) is a very cool part of Pittsburgh. Save your money and explore the Strip District on your own.
