A prominent distillery, Wigle Whiskey, effectively revived Pittsburgh’s whiskey heritage. Every Saturday, participate in a tour and tasting session conducted by the Distillery’s team. You’ll learn about their transformation of organic, local grain into award-winning Rye and Bourbon Whiskey, Gin, Rum, and several other spirits. During the tour, you’ll also be entertained with the unique story of the Pittsburgh’s Whiskey Rebellion, a rather unusual yet crucial event in the country’s history. The tour features an overview of their distillation process, a retelling of the Whiskey Rebellion from the perspective of their eponymous Philip Wigle, and a seated tasting of unblended spirits.
