- Parque Natural de Jandia - Experience the most unknown coast of Fuerteventura and the Natural Park of Jandía, full of Paleontological wonders where you can observe a myriad of terrestrial fossils, paleo dunes made by erosion after millions of years.
The route begins at Pecenescal ravine, then heading northwest through the historic “prisoners’ path”, we will reach one of the most breath-taking landscapes of Fuerteventura: a massive desert of white sand dunes. We will head southwest following the coastline, full of natural caves, small bays, natural pools and long distance virgin beaches surrounded by the crystal clear waters and the roaring sound of the waves.
After a well-deserved bath in the Atlantic Ocean, a picnic and a break, we will face the last slope to Degollada de Pecenescal, where we will reach an altitude of 250 m above sea level. Up to the mountains, we will see plenty of old stone houses and corrals that indicate a past of agricultural and livestock activity in the area.
