Worth every penny - Cool and funny lady who showed us the city from all sides. She took pictures of us outside the Ferris wheel and showed us the new Mathallen inside, she was very service minded. Gave us tips on various restaurants, nightclubs and things to do in Gdańsk. Was a lot of fun, educational and entertaining! Was worth every penny.

An Awesome half day with Eliza in Gdansk. - We had a full day planned out with Eliza. Long story short our cruise ship arrived late and Eliza picked us up at 1pm, as we stepped off the ship in Gdynia. The tour began the moment we got in the car, learning about it's roll as a NATO base.
We like to understand the history of a place and then bring it forward to how the people are living today. Next we drove through Sopot enroute to Gdansk. What a great place to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the sea and at an affordable price. We did the Pierogi class and learned how the owner of the hotel is refurbishing old buildings to make them into first class hotels. Our instructors were actually from Italy and Ukraine and each had their own techniques and tricks for making a Pierogi. Then we got the Retro car to take us to the shipyards and a unique visit to a wine/spirits import business owned by a fellow Canadian.
Eliza has a seemingly endless list of experiences and connections to help make you feel like your tour is the most important one she's ever given. Our shortened trip meant that we had to shuffle vehicles and she had arranged, on short notice to have friends help her deliver us to the Royal Road. We were experiencing the start of St. Dominic's Fair in Gdansk and the streets were packed with people. Eliza artfully navigated the throngs to get us to the key sights. We were on Mariacka St. talking about the narrow buildings and the architects redesigning them with the needs of the 20th century in mind. She sees an Armenian painter she knew who was selling his works in front of his home along the street. Next thing we know we are invited into his home to see what these redesigned buildings look like on the inside. No regular tour guide could provide that level of insight into Gdansk!
Thank you Eliza!

Absolutely Delightful! Nicely Done... - Tour guide went above and beyond! Chef and assistants were excellent, as was the food and venue. Most enjoyable day and interesting conversation, along with the cooking class; we were given a tour of this newly renovated hospital, now a beautiful hotel. Thank you Viator for an excellent experience! A must do for anyone interested in genuine polish cuisine!

BEST TIME EVERRR - Would 100% recommend our tour with Eliza! Nothing was too much trouble. We did the retro car tour, we went to the wooden house museum, travelled by horse and cart to the Forrest where we cooked our own sausages and then on top of this, did a dumpling making class. Eliza was fantastic and we had a fab time! Love u Eliza x

Pierogi Class - great food - great fun and great time - My husband and I went for the Pierogi cooking class with Eliza in Gdansk. She took us to a small and cosy restaurant in the city. Upon arrival everything was already set up for our private class by the owner and kitchen chef - a lovely lady. Before class we were introduced into polish cuisine by getting typical and tasty appetizers. Afterwards we were shown the preparation of our own Pierogi. The evening ended by eating our self created food - accompanied by all inclusive drinks and traditional liquors. Our host Eliza was extremely lively, entertaining and joyful. She made this cooking class one of the most memorable evenings of our trip to Poland! If you are interested in food as well as having an entertaining evening you should go for this activity offered by Retro Tours.

A no show/ difficult location - The taxi drive assigned to our group of 3 could not find the address. We missed our class. Location was difficult to find . We are out $324 . What a waste . Would like a refund from June 11.

Never could get her to respond - I tried booking this with her several times. She said the times on the website were wrong so we needed to cancel it. She then wanted to book it with me directly and actually tried to charge me MORE than what was listed on TripAdvisor. I would stay away. It felt very sketch.
