Ian is an excellent guide and we had an amazing experience! - Ian was the highlight of our Belize adventure. We are a family of 4, with a 70 year old grandma and 2 young kids. And Ian handled everyone with a finesse. He was kind and attentive making sure that my mother was able to walk and be safe. And he kept the kids entertained throughout with his stories and jokes. It was pouring all throughout but that didn’t dampen our spirits and we enjoyed a good hike and river tubing experience with Ian. He also treated us to a delicious local cuisine at a local restaurant and we returned back to our fancy resort feeling rejuvenated.

Fun tour with a great guide! - The tour was great! Our guide Jimmy was so much fun and knows so much about his home country. He’s a very educated person and I enjoyed all the info he shared. On the tour, he spotted rare birds and butterflies and took us to a wonderful little Mayan lunch stop. Would definitely recommend a tour with Jimmy.

Great Cockscomb tour - We did the Cockscomb Reserve tour with Jimmy and although we did not see many animals (due to the heat), we had a great day! Jimmy introduced us to lots of different plants and fruits we had never tried before (or even heard of before). He is a great and honest guide who made this tour very memorable. The little waterfall in the Cockscomb Preserve was a beautiful and very refreshing place and the food for lunch was awesome.

Amazing guided trip in Jaguar Sanctuary rain forest - Jimmy was our guide and did amazing job. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the plants, birds, animals, geography, climate, culture and recent and ancient history and archeology and enthusiastically shared all about his native Belize. He made sure to explain the different types of rain forest and was constantly pointing out the birds, insects, animals, reptiles, and plants as we walked through authentic rainforest. Additionally Jimmy is very safety minded and made sure no one was overwhelmed by the conditions. After hiking the Jaguar Sanctuary, Jimmy took us to local Mayan chocolate, food, and fruit stands for authentic local foods all of which were excellent! Jimmy is very conscientious and made sure we all had an amazing and educational time.

Must do trip in Belize - My boyfriend and I had an amazing time! We saw tons of birds, a snake, howler monkeys, fish and plenty of plants/trees. We liked our day tour so much, we decided to do a night tour as well. It was AMAZING! We saw spiders and tarantulas, scorpions, night walkers and heard many more animals in the distance. Ricky was our tour guide and was fantastic. I would highly recommend him for any tour through cockscomb that you decide to go on!

Great tour!! - The waterfall was amazing! The hike was beautiful! So many species of plants. I didnt try the termite breakfast but others did. Just kidding. Not breakfast just a survival skill Ian explained if you got lost in the jungle. Ian was an awesome tour guide. He kept us engaged with the history and culture of Belize. He pointed out lots of animal footprints, how old they were and possibly where they were traveling. He talked of his family's and other family's involvement to make the community a success. He took us to lunch at a local snack shack. Delicious! Really great tour. I would definitely recommend this tour and would do it again.

Basic accommodations in a forest full of wildlife. - Getting into the Jaguar forest was a nice change from city/beach times. I stayed in the Rustic Cabin. The room was very basic. No air con, no fan. The four rooms of the Rustic Cabin were independently lockable but at 8 feet the inner walls stopped. Air freely circulated amongst rooms and with outside air. Bugs were minimal. Bring food and water. Food service not available but a kitchen is. Internet available for BZD 5 per day
