The Living Maya Experience provides guests with engaging, educational tours to two Mayan residences in Big Falls village, where English is spoken. The Chicas family creates items like hammocks, palm fans, textiles, and other handiwork. The Cals family showcases a conventional Mayan household, decked out with naturally sourced materials, ranging from balsa wood seats to tree bark beds. Food preparation and storage are carried out in the customary manner.
