Do It! - We have been in Placida area since November 2020 and have always wanted to kayak with SUP Englewood at Don Pedro. Our grandson was here for a short vacation and agreeable to Kayaking. So-we finally did it. Great time! Nicole and Danny helped us get going- and encouraged me on the return. They both love and know the environment at Don Pedro. Do it!

Best first-time paddleboard experience! - Went out with Jeff today for the 9:30 AM tour. It’s a holiday and my family had to be in school, but I had the day off… rather than hanging around the house all day I decided to go paddle boarding as it‘s something I’ve wanted to try since moving to Florida. I am a major introvert and I loved that I could book the tour fully online without having to make a phone call ;) And Jeff and Nicole were so nice that they made me feel comfortable and welcome the whole morning. I was their only tour booking for the morning, so I ended up with a private tour which was awesome! Jeff gave a quick land demonstration of the basics, and then we got out on the water and he had me standing and paddling pretty much right away! It was a gorgeous day, we got to see dolphins AND manatees, and a ton of jumping fish! We took a break on a beautiful bit of beach. I only fell in the water once (and that’s because I was distracted by watching all the jumping fish, LOL) One of my favorite things that I’ve done since coming to Florida, can’t wait to go again!

Great way to enjoy nature! - I really enjoyed the kayak tour. Tye was a great guide, very knowledgeable and informative. This was my second tour with SUP Englewood. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I look forward to doing it again soon!

Fun Time Kayaking! - My boyfriend and I did the Don Pedro Island kayak Trip while here on vacation. It was amazing! We loved every moment of it. The tour guide was amazing and it was so peaceful! We got to see some manatees and a dolphin too! I definitely recommend the morning time slot- not as hot during the Florida summer months! Loved it!! 10/10.

Great experience - Our experience was wonderful. Nicole does a fantastic job teaching you how to safely and effectively use the paddle boards. We were able to see dolphins and manatees during our tour, which was more than we anticipated. This was our 2nd time doing a tour with this company & will definitely book another next time we come down to Florida!

A must do!!! - I can’t say enough great things about our guided tour. Our guide was extremely informative on the local wildlife, and ecosystem. While on our tour we saw dolphins, manatees, jellyfish, tarpon, and stingray. He took us back into the mangroves and explained the history of the Native American mounds. I was a first time kayaker and was able to keep up. For those who are worried about being in “deep” water in most places your only in 3-4 feet of water. I am so glad to have taken this tour!!!!!!!

Top Notch SUP Englewood Kayak/Paddleboard - Jeff Gillette, instructor & Kayak Guide, was extremely patient, knowledgeable and was very interesting, keeping my attention. He worked hard to make sure I could see as much wildlife as possible, and telling interesting facts. A Manatee came up right by us, amazing! I was also impressed with the man that checked me in. He made it a smooth, easy process. This is a very professional business that strives to assure its clients a great experience.

Fantastic day kayaking with SUP Englewood - Dolphins and Mantee's were out to greet us for our day on the water kayaking with SUP Englewood. I brought a group of 9 out to explore the beautiful waters in Don Pedro State Park and it was so beautiful. Nicole and her team are awesome. Even if you are new to kayaking, you will be well taken care of and shown what to do so you have a great experience.
