A Fantastic Introduction to Snorkeling on Lanzarote! - Our guided snorkeling experience on Lanzarote was nothing short of amazing! As a first-time snorkeler, the guide's detailed briefing and patient guidance made the adventure not only accessible but thoroughly enjoyable for both me and my 12-year-old daughter. The experience's organisation, the facilities and equipment were great. I'll definately go back to snorkeling, all thanks to the wonderful introduction provided by our guide on Lanzarote. Great experience - Very nice activity, a happy medium between swimming and diving. Our guide from Dive College Lanzarote was very nice and spoke French (but also Spanish, German and Italian!). We saw some magnificent species and we also saw barracudas! We definitely recommend this activity, but be careful in the sun, despite the wetsuit, you stay on the surface of the water exposed to the sun for a while.

An amazing experience - Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time snorkelling! We got taken out by boat and we manage to see a ton of fish as well as an octopus! Definitely would recommend, the guides are super lovely as well!

Fantastic entry point for anyone uncomfortable in water - I (M32) took my mother (F57) along to try something out of our comfort zone. I'm not a particularly strong swimmer, but found this to be an absolutely great experience, and we're both delighted for having tried it. Throughout we were looked after and made to feel really safe. Mara picked us up and took us to the Dive College. We struggled into our wetsuits, got sorted out with flippers and snorkeling gear before heading down to the beach to swim out to the boat. Initially this felt quite daunting, but we were assured the suits would help keep us afloat, and once the flippers were on swimming in the sea -- even in choppy waves -- was really easy. Once on the boat, it was just a short 5 minute journey to the outside of Flamingo Beach, where we left the boat and entered the water. We swam around the outside of the rocks before entering the enclosed part of beach, all the while seeing a great range of life under water. Once we got into the enclosed part of the beach we spotted a few stingrays and took our time to explore. After about 25 minutes or more we slowly headed back to the boat, before getting taken back to the Dive College. We never felt rushed and was a great value (€38 for maybe 40-50 minutes in the water). Definitely something I want to do again, and felt like a great first step for trying scuba diving next time. Be sure to take towels and water for when you get out (you'll invariably drink some salt water when you're snorkeling).

Best value guided activity ever - The best value activity I’ve ever done traveling (I’ve done more than ten). My wife and I showed up 15 minutes late and were treated warmly and professionally anyway. My wife is not a strong swimmer at all and they made her feel completely safe and at ease in the water. We were both snorkeling for the first time, using fins for the first time and putting wetsuits on for the first time and by the end we felt joy and excitement instead of fear. We would consider coming back to lanzarote just for this experience alone. They ended her birthday on a strong note. Don’t sleep on this!
