The Museo Atlántico is an art collection comprising 10 varying sectors of sculptures. It includes the Rubicon, a set of 35 human-like structures advancing towards a wall, inspired by the locals of Lanzarote. The well-known Raft of Lampedusa on display is a nod to the ongoing refugee situation. Adding to the collection is a bunch of juveniles in petite brass vessels, termed as Los Jolateros. There exist numerous melded sculptures (a fusion of human and cactus) that convey the blending of humanity and nature, cohabiting in impeccable accord. The structures of a pair clicking a selfie and a few photographers bring attention to the influence of technology in contemporary culture. Deregulated, an interactive playground where professionals in business attire enjoy swing and seesaw, is another highlight. Completing the display is a human vortex encompassing 200 full-size sculptures positioned in a continuous loop.
