Exceptional crew. - We liked everything. They worried about us seeing whales. The food was fine, we waited for a snack and had rice, nuggets and all the drink we wanted. To fund and be able to do a wonderful snorkeling time. We were delighted.

Whale watching - The coach came to pick us up bang on time with a friendly driver, we made many other pick ups then set off to the port in Costa Adeje. We were on the smaller of the two catamarans. We set sail and headed out of the harbour into open seas. A warning if you haven't got your sea legs you might not like the movement. Many people on board suffered seasickness. We soon came across a family of whales and we stopped to watch them dart about. Great to see mother and calves swimming together. We then headed back towards the coast and moored up for people to have a swim from the back of the boat. Food was also served - chicken paella with chicken nuggets for the kids. Free drinks were available but these were poured from larger bottles rather than on draft. Due to the seasickness many people didn't take the offer of food. We then headed back to the harbour. We were out sailing for approx 2 hours but this went very quickly.

The trip is worth it - It would be great if the ticket checker arranged people on a first-come, first-served basis instead of letting people do what they see fit. Also during the trip they could place a soft music that cheers the trip a bit but also I think that the person who is giving the information over the microphone should not have such a heavy mood. Otherwise the ride is great

A good experience to see whales in the south of Tenerife - We did the tour in early August. The catamaran was completely full, for our taste there were too many people on the boat to enjoy the views, as as soon as you saw something people were running to see it. Otherwise we had a good experience, we could see several whales. There is free drinks bar throughout and we were given paella to eat.

Ok experience which had potential to be amazing. - Seeing whales and dolphins was magical. Only negative is the chaotic system before getting on the boat. No sign for where to que for Maxcat, people allowed to push in front. Staff in charge not very helpful. Crew was ok, other Maxcat boat had a much better vibe, they had a party spirit which would have helped make the sailing experience more enjoyable.

Maxi Cattle more like - We were so looking forward to this but it was awful from start to end. We were treated like cattle and none of the great service promised was evident today. From having to stand outside in 30c heat for 45 minutes only to have people being let on in front of us from a different queue to having so many people on the boat that it was impossible to see anything. There was certainly not enough shade for people and this contributed to a lot of people feeling and being sick. We had ordered kids meals due to allergies only to be told to have the rice because we might like it. The way we were spoken to was disgusting. I went and got the tickets to show that it was confirmed and basically had the food thrown at me. The member of staff then said something to the captain in Spanish about us. Wish we hadn’t bothered as the food was awful. The fries were stone cold and the nuggets were luke warm. All inclusive drinks were a joke too, there was no way to get to the bar when everyone was sat down. We only managed to get one when people stood up to see the whales and then we got half a cup. Considering it took an hour and a half each way on the bus for what would be a 15 minute journey we spent more time on the bus than the boat. The only positive was that the bus driver was really nice.

The worst - I'm not even off this boat yet and I'm writing this review. Absolutely woeful. Awful awful awful. Stingy with the free drinks, people vomiting all around me with the seasickness cos the speed needed to get out in time, only stopped by the whales for a few mins, only allowed a quick dip in turns of the boat, absolute waste of 3 hrs of my life. In addition they told me there was no free bus on a Sunday and we would have to make our own way there but then I saw three buses with Maxicat signs while we were waiting for 45 mins in the heat. Boat completely stuffed full. I can't think of one single thing that was good..
