Jaw dropping experience, highly recommend! - Even if you have no interest in Astronomy, you will love this trip, it is something different. If you have even a passing interest in Astronomy, this will blow you away. After being collected from our hotel, the bus drove for half an hour or so to a local restaurant, to stop for what is best described as a simple 3 course meal which was perfectly adequate, before continuing on it's journey. First stop was to watch the sun set and take a few pictures, then back on the bus for 40 minutes or so before arriving at the final destination - a roadside area where several telescopes were already setup. Darkness was just creeping in as we stepped from the coach, with just a couple of planets visible, but as our eyes adjusted and the night became fully dark, the number of stars visible was just breathtaking. There was plenty of time to use the telescopes, making it possible to view Saturn with it's rings visible, Jupiter and it's moons, as well as Orion's nebula and other deep space objects. The guide, Ozzy, was phenomenal. Very personable and knowledgeable. He introduced himself on the bus, speaking to the party in their own languages (including a few words from Essex) and explaining the proceedings. He relayed some really interesting information about Tenerife and the volcanic activity in the area. He was even more passionate when it came to the astronomy, which made the trip all the more enjoyable. Just talking about the vastness of the universe and the distances involved made me need a little sit down. Ozzy take a bow. Take some money, because Pablo's hot chocolate is also amazing!

Brilliant Tour! - You cannot miss this tour. It is the highlight of any visit to Tenerife. Tour guide, driver, photographers, telescope team... all 100% top class. This is a tour worth every penny. Value for money. Food option can be good for some people, we didn't bother.

A very nice experience, and perfectly arranged - It was perfectly arranged all, clear communication in advance regarding pickup and other important info. The guide was great, told a lot about the origin of the island, the culture, nature. He knew a lot about the stars and was able to convey it in a very enthusiastic way. It was a very nice experience that we would not have missed.

Cold but worth it to see the stars! - Everything ran smoothly and Ozzy was a wonderful guide! Knowledgeable and funny. The sunset stop was very pretty despite the haze that was present that evening. The meal was simple but good. The main attraction was the night sky! Again Ozzy was excellent in picking out planets and stars with three huge telescopes for us all to look through and the stars were bright enough to take a photo on my smart phone! There was a very cold wind though, despite wearing several layers, we still needed to retreat to the warmth of the coach from time to time. Good value and a very different experience from the usual “coach trip”.

Great job Ozzie! - Great trip, Ozzie was both very funny but very knowledgable in the universe, some great mind bending facts and a great overall experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. Telescopes where great with plenty of time on them viewing many of our local planets

Chaos in the stars! - To flee for the francophones. Knowing only French and Spanish, I found myself in a group with an English majority! The guide was drunk and we were 80 people for 4 telescopes ...
