Non pushy and experienced. - Patricia was fantastic, we asked for a whale watching at short notice and Patricia rang around a few companies putting in the work to find one that was suitable and available for us. Great trip and highly recommend Tenerife 1st.

In particular a lady called Patricia 😊She arranged a boat trip for myself and partner when she was shutting up shop at night, for the next day, unfortunately we could not make it so I spoke with Patricia and she very kindly re-arranged the trip. Absolutely amazing Staff - It's was absolutely amazing. The boat hat around 12 people on we first we Set off from the docks where we met our host, Fabrizio he was amazing explaining everything to us in detail we were lucky to see some dolphins and by the end of the trip you get a meal that mostly concludes of amazingly seasoned chicken thigh, Veggie rice and Roat potato. After that me and my brothers got out the boat and went for a small swim (recommend wearing shorts/swimming costume under your clothes) Life Jackets are provided for the little ones. All and all an amazing experience, my first time on a boat and definitely not my last !

It could have been great. - This could have been so great and in many respects it was. We saw whales up close for the first time ever - amazing! When booking via TripAdviser, we (5 adult tickets) were sent instructions on where to go and the name of the boat. We wrongly assumed this meant wait at the boat. When the skipper arrived he told us off for being in the wrong place and sent us to wait outside of the jetty area. It was a genuine mistake on our part and we did not intend to cause any issues. When we were let on board we were not given any instructions on where and how we should sit or given any “rules” about what we could and could not do during the trip. Hubby chose a seat, and when we started out from the mooring was brusquely and rudely told off by the skipper for blocking his view (hubby is overweight). This could have been avoided if we were given a briefing when we boarded about was expected of us. The sarcastic comments aimed only at my husband when he tried to move, about treating his boat like an airplane and not to move during take off and landing were particularly patronising and humiliating. He may have had a valid point, but I feel he just didn’t need to be so rude. When hubby moved seats (or basically did pretty much anything at all) during the entire trip, the skipper would find fault with him. It was as if he felt obligated to humiliate him at every opportunity. The Skipper was very polite and helpful to the rest of us at all times but was constantly rude and disrespectful to my husband (who is a gentle natured, quiet and very polite 55 year old man who is kind and polite to everyone). The trip itself was a wonderful experience for the rest of us and on the whole we had a good time but we all noticed that my husband was being constantly humiliated so that did spoil it a bit. We saw Pilot whales up close and got to have a dip / snorkel in the wild Atlantic before some snacks and sandwiches (15 year old was hugely impressed that the crusts were cut off). I don’t know if the skipper had a bad morning / start to his day (we obviously made him angry by waiting in the wrong place), or just took a dislike to my husband but it did spoil what otherwise was a truly exceptional experience. The ride was wild (big swells), and the skipper clearly has a lot of knowledge and experience. It could so easily have been perfect.

Disappointing! - Very disinterested captain, didn’t crack a smile. We saw pilot whales but only for a few minutes. No information about cetaceans at all. Food was described as buffet, it was a roll and crisps! Good point was only 7 passengers so that was a small bonus.
