• Plaza las Perlas - The group will gather at “Plaza las Perlas” around 5:45 AM to ensure an early departure and avoid traffic. Complimentary coffee and pastries will be provided. Participants will receive a backpack for personal items and any snacks they wish to purchase for the journey. The group will travel in private, comfortable transportation, with a stop in Felipe Carrillo Puerto for a restroom break and to stretch. This city is closer to the destination, with a travel time of about 2 hours.
• Cenote Azul - The first destination is Cenote Azul in Bacalar, where a full breakfast, including vegetarian and vegan options, will be served. Breakfast is complimentary! Afterward, participants can swim in the crystal-clear waters of this ancient cenote, which is 90 meters deep. There will be ample time to relax, unwind, and enjoy this incredible experience. Life jackets are available for rent at an additional cost.
• Lago Bacalar (Lake of the Seven Colors) - Next, the group will explore the enchanting Bacalar Lagoon by boat. The tour includes visits to three other cenotes, Bird Island, and the Pirate Canal. There will be two stops in shallow waters for swimming and learning about the rich cultural history of the area. Complimentary water and seasonal fruit will be provided.
• Fuerte San Felipe Bacalar - The third stop is at San Felipe Fort, where participants will learn about Bacalar’s history. Following the tour, a typical local meal can be enjoyed with a view of the lagoon. (Food is paid directly at the restaurant, LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED)
• Tulum - A final restroom stop will be made before reaching Playa del Carmen, where drinks or snacks can be purchased.
• Plaza las Perlas - The final stop will be to return participants home. The journey from Tulum to Playa del Carmen should take about an hour, depending on weather and traffic conditions.
