Beautiful Sites but come prepared
 - Although seeing the Chichen Itzá and cenote were beautiful, I would NOT recommend this tour company. I booked with tour through Victor but the tour provider was “NS Tours Mexico”. They were very pushy when it came to spending your money, did not give us enough time at the locations and I felt could have prepared customers more for what to expect. Read below. I was picked up on time at my resort, along with others on the way. We were then taken to a random convenience store location where there were MANY people all doing similar tours with different groups. We paid the $40 USD tax fee and then got our bracelets. Then we were loaded onto a larger tour bus with multiple other groups of different tour companies to go together. Our first stop was to do the cenote swim and tequilla tasting but what was frustrating was that we were only given 50 minutes at this stop which is not enough time to do both activities. Also, we had to pay for our entry and lockers additional to our origional ticket purchase. I suggest coming with your bathing suit already on to save you time in the change rooms. Then we went to have lunch but first we had to walk through all the shops first where staff were constantly asking you if you wanted to buy things
We were not allowed to consume our own drinks (water bottles included) at the buffet. You had to purchase any drinks apart from water. Our tour guide boasted about how amazing the meal will be and in all honesty it was not worth the excitement. The buffet was not worth the value of what I paid for the excursion
although the hosts were friendly, the meal consisted of plain white rice, plane steamed vegetables, pulled pork and tortillas. We then went to Chichen Itza. BE PREPARED. You must pay for everything there. Drinks, rental umbrella, etc. Bring your own umbrella if you can because I paid $7 USD to rent one and it saved me because it was INSANELY hot and bright. Also, what I was not expecting was the site to be FULL of people trying to scam you and sell you things. You were forced to walk through paths of people constantly in your face asking you to buy their little items. Stay away from these people and ignore them. Lastly we stopped in the Valladolid town square for 30 minutes which I honestly found pointless
it’s simply a street square for you to buy some food and see a church but there is nothing else to it. I would have rather used that 30 minutes to spend more time for the cenote and tequilla tasting instead. Lastly - at the end our tour, the guide gave us a big speech about how Mexican people make the least amount of money in Latin America and that we should tip them today because it will have to be split between 3 families etc. I understand the purpose of tipping our guides but the 10 minute speech about it made me feel uncomfortable and felt like they were begging a bit
Overall - this tour would have been way better if the tour company prepared us more for what to expect. A detailed itinerary of where we would be, at what time, and for how long would have been helpful. Also I was not prepared for the amount of things I would be forced to buy out of pocket on the day of (cenote entrance, locker, drinks, umbrella, food, tipping etc) that by the end I didn’t have enough money to tip. Giving guest an estimate amount of money to bring would be better as well.

I was totally ignored and cancelled the booking - Terrible operator, I booked the tour and sent messages to the operator just confirming that they have received the order and will be picking us up at the hotel. At the point when I am writing this review which is almost one week later the operator did not acknowledge my message so to be on the safe side I cancelled and booked with someone else.
