Legends of the Maya - It was an amazing cultural experience and learning opportunity. The lessons that can be learned from the Maya and the awe inspiring temples it truly is one of the great wonders of the world. Top this trip off with swimming in the Cenote was iconic and icing on the cake.

Very neat and respectful - The communication via WhatsApp was clear, they sent the necessary information for the tour and helped with the organization. Arturo, the main guide on the bus, explained everything very well. In Chichén Itzá, Juan was an excellent guide, with great knowledge and passion for the history of the place. Of course I would recommend it to anyone.

A perfect tour with an excellent guide - We had a great time on this tour. Alexis was an excellent tour guide. Although 12 hours may seem like a long time, it wasn't. It was a perfect tour.

Pleasant experience and knowledgeable guides - Arturo and Juan were very good tour guides. They are punctual, so make sure you arrive at the venue on time. Jorge, with his training in archaeology, has extensive knowledge of the Mayan culture, which he shared in an interesting way. Before swimming in the cenote, it is necessary to shower to remove the sunscreen. In the cenote, life jackets are provided for greater safety and cost 50 Mexicans.

Awesome tour! - This was such a great tour! Overall we would recommend. A few high/lows and things we wish we had know, especially with a 4 year old in tow: This is a jam packed day. So many things to see, our guides were very knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious and the Mayan ceremony was interesting to see. The Cenote is NOT to be missed!! We honestly could have shaved off some of our first stop and Valladolid entirely to have more time at the Cenote. Arrival, changing in the lockers, mandatory shower before getting your life jacket, swimming, changing again into dry clothes, AND getting to view/purchase pictures… One hour and 15 minutes felt like a mad rush. Be prepared to move quick to maximize your time, especially if you’re bringing children! We do wish communication had been better. Our confirmation had us for a 12 hour day with a 7am pickup in Playa Del Carmen. I reached out the evening before to confirm and learned our pickup was actually at 7:30. We were on time but not informed that our transport was 30 minutes late. Our resort staff was concerned because apparently booking off resort has a scam reputation, where companies simply no show you after payment. We had to reach out to see what was happening, and even then were not given an ETA, only told that the guide was on the way. Once at the meet-up point and on the bus we learned that we would not be returning until around 10pm. 12 hours was already a huge day for a toddler, so we were concerned to learn it would actually be 14 hours. We were picked up at 8am, and even as the second stop for drop-off we arrived back at our resort at 10pm. Be sure to eat well at your first stop, the box lunch was provided first thing in the morning and only included a small sandwich. Highly recommend dramamine for the bus. I got extremely motion sick and really struggled on the morning ride. There’s a bathroom on the bus but it’s not somewhere you want to spend a lot of time if you can avoid it. Try to sit close to the front and be attentive. We didn’t realize that this was actually a blended tour- I think we may have been the only ones whose first language was English. Our guide spoke incredibly fast, and alternated between English/Spanish with each sentence to accommodate everyone. We felt like we missed a lot of information because of the speed, and they have a lot of really awesome info to share! Knowing some basic Spanish will help catch a bit more as they alternate between languages. There were great shopping opportunities, and I was so grateful how personal our guides were. They remembered our names, made sure no one was left behind, and were generous with water/ice between stops. Definitely helped us feel safe while traveling off resort. Plenty of time to explore Chichen Itza, and they made sure everyone was clear on how to identify the right group/bus when it was time to head back. Overall we would still do this tour all over again! Just be prepared, especially if traveling with little ones, for a big day with lots of snacks and it’ll be well worth the trip!

Worst EXCURSION EVER!!!! - One this excursions does not tell you alll it does we went to a church for 20 mins a the cenote for 1 HR!! To a shopping center for like 2 HR . And then the chichen itza for 2 HRS but the tour was 15mins and the rest was “free time” but when walking on said free time we found more things we didn’t know about IN THE HOT BLAZING SUN then we had nothing to do for the remaining 1HR . We woke up at 7 in the morning to stay there til 9 at night with just lunch NO DINNER and NO BREAKFAST which more things were closing by the time we came back! Also all inclusive isn’t all inclusive they like limit you. NOT TO MENTION THE WHOLE TIME THEY ARE TRYING TO SELL YOU EVERY THING!!! Like we had to pay moreee fees when getting there ,pay for drinks (supposedly all inclusive btw) , and PAY EVEN FOR A PRAYER. Everything kinda felt like a scam of the culture to make some profit it was quite sad… and the tour guide like scared us half to death when we went to the chichen itza on the merchants when they weren’t like anything he said. So we couldn’t buy anything because supposedly they would kidnap us.

Bad time - Over all the tour took 14 hours. It’s basically them just wanting you to spend as much money as possible. They bring you through all these shops and don’t tell you. The tour of the pyramid was 15 minutes and then you had to wait in the hot sun for an hour and 15. Would not recommend
