Great trip with professional and friendly people! - Great trip from A to Z. Very friendly driver picked us up on time at the hotel in Puerto Morelos.Than we were transferred to a comfortable bus. Everything was well explained during bus trip so we knew what to expect. Our guide Jose Rivera was very knowledgeable and helpful. The boat ride was fun even tho was raining like always during our day trips... but we can't control nature 😄.Take extra plastic bags just in case of rain so you can keep your belongings dry during boat rides. Punta Mosquito was our favorite stop. Good ,homemade lunch on the boat between stops. We came back to the hotel around 8 pm with the same super nice driver like in the morning. Ekinox tour feels really professional, and we enjoyed all day under their wings. Do not hesitate to book the trip with them! They are responding fast on Whatsapp when you have any questions!

One of the best excisions I’ve ever done!! - Amazing day trip!! I honestly want to do it again while I’m down here!! We’ve been to Mexico before, and I’ve always wanted to do this trip. We just weren’t sure. Of all the places we’ve been and of all the excursions we’ve done (Iceland, London, Paris, US) this was our second most favorite and it comes very close to first. (Nothing beats the Icelandic food tour). From start to finish, this excursion was amazing. We started by boarding a bus from our hotel to a meeting point. Once we got onto the bus, they took us to the boat. By boat, we went from one spot to the other. We got plenty of time to swim and take pics at each location. Punta Mosquito was my absolute favorite. Holbox was amazing. Be sure to try the Holbox ice cream!! Lunch was delicious. It was served on the boat with a table down the middle, picnic style. They kept you hydrated and happy. One of my favorite things was while driving in between the spots while we were cruising on the boat, that alone was an experience!! They were going like 100mph just blaring music while the water splashed us and the wind blowed through our hair. It was so much fun!!! What an experience!!! Now for the people
. Maria was our host and she was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough about how kind she was. She didn’t speak English well, but her speech was very punctual and she spoke clearly in Spanish that I was able to understand every bit of what she said. Sometimes when there is slang or slurring of words together, I don’t always understand, but she spoke very clearly. I really appreciated that as a foreigner trying to speak and understand the language. The guys driving the boat were wonderful. Super kind and helpful getting in and around the boat. The gentleman who helped Maria on the other boat (I don’t remember his name) was also very kind and helpful. He spoke English, Spanish and French! The only bad part about the experience was the first guy who gathered us at the hotel and took our extra cash payment that you have to pay. He wasn’t the kindest and I understand that they have a schedule to keep. My husband ran a little behind and needed to go back to the room to get something. He had 5 mins before our scheduled time so he thought he would run back. They guy got there one min before our time and my husband and was on the way back to us. The guy was rude about it saying we needed to go and he needed to be there in less than a minute or he had to leave us. I also pointed out that the email states we have a 5 min grace period and he ended up taking 3 mins more than our scheduled time. They guy wasn’t so nice about it. We hate being late, but it was also just 3 mins when we were supposed to have a 5 mins grace period. That was the only unpleasant thing about the whole entire trip. From the arrival with Maria until the very end, this was one of the best days we’ve ever had!! If you’re questioning this tour, book it. Do it. You won’t regret it!! Next time we come, we’re doing this tour again!!

A great day and a lovely guide - We had a great day. It is a very complete excursion, a boat ride, two virgin beaches, food on a boat and even a swim, we were lucky enough to even see dolphins. It included food, since my boy is allergic, I prepared a diet adapted to him. Our guide Caro, very attentive at all times. we would repeat

Holbox Island - Excellent tour to the island of HolBox, we managed to see several places and Dara and Noé were the best guides. The experience of being in the turquoise sea and complementing it with local food was something extraordinary.

Everything beautiful, except... - All the landscapes were beautiful, unfortunately Holbox was not what I expected given its streets and the mayor's lack of concern in fixing them, but everything else was very good, as I told you in the feedback they gave us, ideally in my opinion it is better to give it more time to Punta Mosquito, Isla de la PasiĂłn or the Cenote and subtract a little more to Holbox.

Holbox Excursion from Riviera Maya - Tour was great! Dara and Noe were excellent. So are the crew onboard. 4 islands in 1 day. 1st two islands are the island hopping. 3rd island is the downtown. 4th island is the springbank water. The boat lunch was excellent. The only downside of this trip is on some island and the dock, you have to pay for washroom. I would recommend not using washroom on the 3rd island. Holbox downtown washroom is dirty, flush don't work, no toilet seats, only get 1 cloth of toilet paper. And cost you 10 pesos to use. Prepare to squat. But besides that, the tour was excellent and the tour guides onboard made you at ease.

Good tour with a recommendation - First of all, Jose (Pepe) and Angel were awesome an tour guide and driver combo. They treated us well and were respectful and courteous. Also, the boat personnel were top-notch as well. They deserve 5/5 stars. The tour itself was good; I rate it 4/5 stars. The tour consists of being driven to the port town and then taking a boat to Pasion Island, then the town of Holbox on Holbox Island, next we went to Punta/Playa Mosquito, and finally to the Water Holr which is on the Mexican mainland. Ratings: Pasion Island: 3/5 stars because it’s literally just a 35-45 minute stop to walk around in water. It’s beautiful clear water that is knee deep high all around, but there is no beach to relax. The island is maybe a city block in size or smaller. Nothing to do there. I recommend for the tour to cut this stop out and provide more time in Holbox or Punta/Playa Mosquito. Holbox town/beaches: 4/5 stars because the waters are beautiful but the beaches are small. Very few places to drop a towel and relax without getting trampled on. It’s actually congested due to the limited beach area to walk on. We ate at Los Peleones restaurant which is a three minute walk to where we get dropped off by the boat. Great food and I’ll do my review on their TripAdvisor page. Considering there is a two-hour limit in Holbox as part of the tour, it’s not really enough time to explore. Playa/Punta Mosquito: 5/5 stars because it’s picture perfect water that is knee/thigh high for hundreds of meters all around. We had about 45 minutes with lunch here. The crew provided us with awesome homemade ceviche and sides which were tasty. There are no buildings here; just some sand and beautiful water. It’s about a 5 minute boat ride from Holbox town and is still part of the Holbox Island. On out boat ride from Holbox town to Playa Mosquito we saw that there are many resorts along the way with very few people walking on the beach. We might stay in this area next time we come back. It looks beautiful and chill, and there is no congestion of people like the beach hotels located next to the Holbox boat docks. Water Hole: 5/5 stars because, even though it was small/medium hole, it was nice to stop and cool off in the freshwater. The water is super cold but refreshing. It was about a 35 minute stop, enough to cool us off. Would I recommend this tour from Playa del Carmen: considering it’s a long drive, probably not. However, if they remove the Pasion Island and provide more time in Holbox or Playa Mosquito, I would say yes. Once again, we got treated well by the staff and they deserve kudos for service.
