Beautiful horses - Our guides and cowboys were excellent. Fabian is a wealth of knowledge. During the tour he pointed out many things and gave good explanations of the flora and fauna of the jungle. Orlando the paparazzo was everywhere, like a ninja in the jungle. He took lots of great photos. The guides assigned the horses to us based on experience and weight. My horse was named Macarena, my partner’s horse was Julio. Both very well behaved and sweet horses, followed the trail diligently without needing much direction at all, except to steer them away from eating grass. The trail took us to an unexplored wild cenote where we took a break from the ride to give the horses a rest and hear more about the area. We rode back to the ranch and were given the opportunity to swim in a cenote on the property, a refreshing dip after a hot day. We were fortunate that no one else booked our time slot, so we had the whole tour and trail to ourselves. The horses are all rescues from various industries in Mexico. Many of the horses suffered injuries that made then unsuitable for the jobs they were doing previously, racing, performing etc… saved from slaughter and given a second chance at a relaxing life on Rancho Bonanza. It is very clear the horses and all the animals on the ranch are well cared for. Our horses were nice and fat, well fed with shiny coats. Things to know - because these horses are all previous rescues with injuries, they do have a weight limit of 220lbs, you will be weighed before being able to get on the horse. An excellent experience, highly recommended.

Well cared for horses and knowledgeable cowboys - A perfect morning. The arranged ride from our hotel was on time. The ride was really well organised with quick training for beginners like myself. The “paparazzi” photographer was hilarious as were the photos. Most importantly they appeared to really care about what they do. It was evident that the animals are well cared for and that they are helping to provide a haven for not just horses. I highly recommend this excursion.

Yes! - One warning: this event is not on the beach anymore, as described. It is through the Mayan jungle on a path. No faster than a walk. However— the experience was fantastic in every way. Plenty of time to enjoy the activities, lots of cool stories on the tour, and a chance to try/buy their incredibly good products (honey, organic gum). The tour guide, Sergio, was hilarious and fun. The cowboys were kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The cenote swim was beautiful. I’d go over and over.

Horse's and Cenote!!! - We had a nice, long ride with our horses. Mine was tomate, my wife horse was Chill. We also had 4 more horses for our kids. All of the horse's were well behaved, and the guides and vaquero's we informative and helpful. They have many other animals on site. We ended the afternoon in a small Cenote! It was very refreshing!!! Thanks to everyone, including the main guide Fabian. What a great day.

Horseback Riding🐴 / Cenote Swim 👙 - Fabian was our guide for the horseback riding and cenote tour. He gave us a lot of insightful stories of the Mayan Jungle which I really enjoyed learning. Also, it was my first time riding a horse but did not feel scared at all due to professional guidance from the staffs. There are enough staffs in between you that you can ask for assistance immediately if you are in trouble. I would like to thank again for all the staffs for the safe and fun tour. Definitely recommend this tour package!👍👍

10/10 recommend - Absolutely amazing experience! The ranch workers are very kind (shout out to Fabian and Sergio) and treat the animals with such good care (and they are rescues). The property is beautiful and so cool to get to swim in a cenote! They also provided alot of interesting information on the jungle and it’s history throughout the tour which was cool to hear. Definitely recommend
