Super Isaac !!!!! - Isaac wasn't my waiter but as my friend, he was just another companion at the party, the best of the night. Amazing, don't hesitate to come!

Best performance + dance party in Playa Del Carmen - Oscar came to our resort to sell tickets…arranged the transport and welcomed us to coco bongo. Line up went quickly, we were inside before you knew it. Such talented performers. Was quite loud but the show was so well organized.

But spending on coco bongo - Dire. The only thing that's salvageable is some shows. The waitresses prostituting themselves, giving more and more alcohol were plucking the tourists in exchange for letting them touch them, and so they were releasing the dollars until they left them lying. Plus a sexualization of everything. Unfortunate. Very low level. Whoever likes the puterio will like coconut bongo. I was hoping otherwise.

Couldn’t see anything of the show - Do not waste your money on a regular ticket. You won’t see a thing. All I saw was the backs of peoples heads. Couldn’t even see the huge screens. Worst night out I’ve ever had. Tour company dropped us off at 10.45 in Playa. Had to make our own way to the venue. Queued for an hour to get in. Once in was shown to stools in the back row on the top tier where you could see literally zero of the show. If I tried to stand up and peer over the edge to try and see anything I was told to sit down as I was in the way of the waiters. Complained and was shown to other seats on the top tier and still could see literally zero of the show. Shown to a third set of seats on the next tier down. My friends could just about see but I saw just the backs of the heads of two guys who wouldn’t sit in their stools and were either standing or dancing totally blocking my view if anything. And why should those guys sit? It is a nightclub after all. I left and went and sat on the pavement outside waiting for the transport back to the resort. I repeat. Don’t waste your money or any part of your holiday on this.

Health & safety nightmare, ambulances called! - Hellish.
We’ve been to clubs and entertainment venues all over the world. This was the worst without a doubt. Only interested in selling as many tickets as possible, Coco Bongo waiters couldn’t even move through the scrum of people crammed into this tiny venue. Even VIP ticket holders left. Strangers’ bodies pressing against ours EVERY SECOND we were in there. We left after 20 minutes after one of us had a panic attack. Coco Bongo vehemently refused refund. Their rep told us the following day two ambulances were called for others. One was a member of staff. This was on a Sunday! DO NOT GO HERE! Fire safety nightmare.
Also, despite advance tickets at €100 each, they tell you to pay extra on arrival to avoid wasting 2 hours in the queue just getting in. Total racket. Photos of the managers.

BEWARE of this .....They didn't let us in! - We stayed in July 2024 with 22 friends for our kid's graduation. We were approached and sold tickets by 2 operators of Coco Bongo at our poolside at the hotel we were staying at at a discount rate. 22 people at $50 each - $1100. My sister and I split the cost on our credit cards. My sister was issued a voucher but I was not. We were told to bring the voucher to get in to the show on the night we scheduled for. We had to reschedule because a few of our friends got sick - and could not attend on the night we originally scheduled. They would not issue a refund so we had to reschedule or lose our money. A few days later, we got on the bus for a 50 minute ride to the Coco Bongo in Playa. We arrived and the operator asked for our vouchers. So we gave him the one voucher he gave to my sister. He asked for the 2nd one. We didn't ever receive a second one. He swore he gave it to us at the pool and we put it in a pink pool bag. We don't own a pink pool bag? then the next hour was filled was cell phone calls, and refusing to let us in. At one point the operator showed us a picture of the missing voucher on his phone. Again, I never received this voucher in my hands, but this guy has a picture of it? Can we just use this to get in? NOPE! No one would budge, no one would help, the operator kept accusing me of losing the damn voucher that I never received. In the end, we were denied entry into the show = and they wouldn't give us transportation back to our hotel. We had to find cabs for 20 people to go 50 minutes back to our hotel This was the worst customer service, sketchy as hell! Who does that?! Losers - that's who! Have a great day.
