A Must Do Excursion! - This was my favorite excursion I took in all of my Cancun trip. The cave exploration was amazing and Isabel was such a good tour guide and so much fun to talk to. Pato was our photographer and he went above and beyond to make my cave exploration comfortable and safe. The ruins you visit are a little spread out, so make sure your comfortable for short bike rides! The only down side is they won't let you bring a camera into the cave system and the photos they take are 30$ a picture!! I have a terrible memory and I would have loved to have a few photos of the cave exploration since it was my favorite part of the vacation!

First and foremost, Pablo... - First and foremost, Pablo was an excellent guide. He was patient and explained everything about the excursion perfectly. We zip lined, rappled, biked, went through a cave with extremely clean and clear water that had stalcimites. What an adventure!! I recommend Pablo to anyone who does this excursion. Great job Pablo!!

Incredible. Beyond my already high expectations. - This was an incredible experience. My guide Danny was full of positive energy and professionalism. The cave was only discovered in 2008 very recently so the inside of the cave is truly natural, super well preserved. I really liked how little external things were inside the cave, basically just a line guiding the path. You feel like you’re one of the first to explore it. The best part is that the tours are basically private since each group must be a certain distance apart. I thought this was a public cave that was going to be crowded with people like other tours I’ve done. This is totally worth the money because of the private experience. The gear is really good. Personally didn’t need wet suit but really appreciated the helmets with lights attached. They take safety very seriously so you’re in good hands. Note: you can’t take your phone or cameras inside but they’ll have a professional photographer taking photos you can purchase after. It’s expensive so you’ll want to pose well and get good opportunities for the photographer to capture your moments.

Recommendation - We did the Rio Secreto Plus Tour with Zip Lines, Bicycle Ride and the Rio Secreto aswell as Lunch. The Guide was very good, he made sure to explain everything in several languages. We loved the tour and would recommend it! We felt very safe. Only deficit: the prices for pictures is extremely high, be prepared.

fantastic expierinece with extremely expensive pictures - The guide (Karina) was great. She showed us Coba ruins and Rio Secreto explaining a lot under way. She answered all our questions and shared a massive amount of knowledge. The only flaw on this beauty is the price of the pictures taken by the photographer inside the caves of the Secret River (you are not allowed to take your camera with you) which was a horrendous 120USD for the link where you can download the pictures from. And that is the reason I do not put any pictures here in this review.

Great experience - This was second time on this tour. Everything went great they picked us up at our hotel and we went to the cave. The staff at the cave was so helpful and friendly. The cave was spectacular and so fun to float in parts. The buffet lunch was delicious.

Brilliant! Completely Unique and Interesting! - This excursion was absolutely worth it in just about every way. To get the bad out of the way, they didn't let us bring in cameras and it was $36 for a single photo. Annoying for sure, but it didn't bother me with how amazing this experience was. To start the check in experience was very smooth. We were told what to do, who to submit our forms too, what group we were in. It all flowed very naturally and it was a short form to fill out. Next, our guide was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I had written that our reason for being there was to celebrate our honeymoon. The guide noticed that and said how fun that was for us! All that to say that she was very personable. Then our guide helped walk us through the gathering equipment. Everything you needed was there at the site. That included: wet suit, water shoes, life jacket, helmet, helmet flash light and even a walking stick if needed. Of course you just need to bring your own bathing suit. Then we got to the cave and it was absolutely beautiful. We saw some Toh birds outside the cave that were really unique! Then we entered into the actual cave and it was stunning! So many stalactites and stalagmites. There were some that looked like they were covered in frost. There were tree roots coming down from the ceiling. Also, the whole time if felt safe and secure and we had zero issues. There were some parts where you had to pay attention to where you were stepping. As long as you took it slow it was very easy. There were even some people in our group who had serious walking issues and they were able to do it. Part way through the walking and swimming there was an incredibly cool moment. Our guide asked us to float out in the middle of this small cavern (you didn't have to do this if you didn't want to) and be completely quiet. Then she asked us turn off our head lamps. There were also some flashlights around the room. Then she had us close our eyes, count to three, and..... complete blackness. I couldn't see anyone no matter how close they were. It was a truly surreal, unique, and amazing experience!

Very enlightening... - Very enlightening experience. Definitely would do it again and recommend. The ticket office and reception weren’t very welcoming and it did get my attention. But gala was my tour guide and she definitely made the experience so enjoyable. she went above and beyond when I struggled with the rocks and floating. She was very patient and helpful.

So much fun-issues with photo - The Rio Secreto $ Tulum was worth the money. The maya ruins were great but was so hot we could wait to leave. Than we experienced the caves with cool waters. A great outing. The photo option at the end was our negative issue. They do not print any photos. They give you a link with password. I saw the pictures and decided to download them later. The password does not work and we can’t get the pictures. I send them an email and no responses.
