I’d do it with my family - even in rain - Marcel was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and friendly too, we had a great time learning all the great vegan spaces. Now we have lots of great places to eat on our stay! He has a knowledge of history and anthropology. He made the tour easy.

Great Vegan food tour with Enrique - Enrique was such a great guide. He made our first visit to the area very enjoyable. Such great humor, considerate, and very knowledgeable. The first two stops were absolutely amazing, would highly recommend.

Vegan food tour of Playa del Carmen was a delicious experience! - My wife and I had a wonderful time on the vegan food tour guided by Abbey. She was enthusiastic, professional and fun! We had the opportunity to visit multiple local restaurants and sample some of their wonderful eats that were made with love. Abbey gave us some insight into the local culture of the area prior to beginning the food tour which set the stage for our experience. My favorite stop was with a local fonda that served mole enchiladas! Delicious deep flavor! My wife loved the KFC taco served on our 3rd stop on our tour. We left full on local cuisine and were extremely satisfied. Thanks again Abbey for an unforgettable experience!

True Taste of Mexico! - Enrique was very knowledgeable on the local food and the history that of the authentic Mexican foods. Come with empty stomachs!!! Lots of food and laughs!

A great introduction to the local food scene & culture - This tour was a great one to do early on in our holiday as it introduced us to the area and the local food scene in a really accessible and interesting way. It built our knowledge of what to look out for elsewhere, as well as learning where to go back to! The food was delicious throughout and it was a great way to visit some of the spots geared more towards locals that aren’t all vegan but have great vegan options, some of which we might not have had the confidence to visit otherwise. Just a heads up, the places listed on trip advisor weren’t the ones we visited and it seemed like the stops were flexible- so you may not know which stops you’ll be going to in advance, but they will undoubtedly have delicious vegan food! Our guide Alex was great- he was really personable and made sure the experience was personalised and meaningful to us. He had a great passion for the food and the local culture which really enhanced our experience. It was great to develop an understanding of the cultural development and significance of the cuisine. Most importantly, he made sure we didn’t leave until we were full and satisfied! Would definitely recommend!

Tasty vegan food in Playa del Carmen - This tour was a great way to start our trip since we learned about different places to get vegan food in Playa del Carmen. We visited several places we might never have gone to otherwise. We ended up returning to several of the restaurants later in our trip. Our tour guide Abbey was friendly and knowledgeable. Highlights included fresh fruit with chile, mushroom enchiladas with mole sauce and tortilla soup! We'd recommend this tour if you want to learn about delicious veggie options in Playa.

Amazing - What an amazing experience with INDY, had an amazing time very thoro with explaining all the food, soft drinks, and fruits. Had a blast and ao did my kids 16/14. Thank you INDY you are amazing

Highly recommend! - Our guide Enrique was friendly, knowledgeable about all things vegan, and truly enthusiastic about sharing the food and culture of Mexico. Even if you’re not vegan you’ll still enjoy the food, and can request to add on cheese if you’d like. We ate entirely too much but it was so worth it! It was hard to pick a favorite food from the tour since it was all so good! We will be recommending this tour to all our friends who are visiting the area.

Experience a different side of Mexican Cuisine - Great food tour, even as a meat-eater the tour was a great way to experience a different side of Mexican food. Alejandro (Alex) was very knowledgeable and funny, he showed us the local spots and shared a lot of interesting facts about Mexico and their cuisine. Would definitely recommend
