A Must Stop! - We didn't know what to expect exactly and words cannot describe how amazing this park is. Our guide on the bus gave us great tips on how to best see the most of the park and we followed his advice and had the best day.

Great day! - It’s impossible to see everything in only one day, but the things we did were all great! Here’s my ranking out of the activities we’ve done: 1. swim with shark 2. sea trek 3. dinner booking for the final show 4. underground river some things I wish I knew before: - don’t buy water shoes, they’re not needed at all - I did every activity barefoot or with crocs provided for free - bring your own waterproof phone case, over there They’re sold for 37US$ a piece 😅 - if you don’t have too many things with you, you can skip the lockers at Xcaret plus. During the underground river you have your things in some kind of sport bag that will be handed to you at the exit. At all the activities they have small lockers, which can’t be locked but are constantly viewed. - bring a refillable water bottle, the park has many spots where you can fill them with filtered drinking water. Don’t go if you’re broke 😬 - besides the entry fee you need to pay for most of the activities extra. We as a couple spend around 900US$ for the above. I recommend the dinner booking for the final show, you don’t have to queue for good seats and you can enjoy a 7 course meal during the 2 hour show from great seats! Definitely worth a trip!

Wow!! Amazing - We visited Xcaret towards the end of our holiday and we are so glad that we did!! This place is absolutely incredible! Our transfer picked us up from our hotel at 7:15 am. The guide on this transfer spoke was in-depth about what activities we could do at Xcaret. It is definitely one of those places that you can do once in a lifetime activities, For example, swimming with Dolphins, Sharks, Rays, Even getting a boat out to the coral reef. We didn’t do any of these activities however on arrival we did purchase the photo pass. This is an absolute must. It saves you taking your phone around with you and you can just lock this secure away in your locker. To which you are given a key on arrival. We got the plus Package so our lockers were in a designated area with showers and toilets. The photo allows you to go around the park and scan your wristband to have Professional Photos taken Whether this be an individual who works there or by hidden cameras. I must say, if you do any of the river swims the photo pass is brilliant! We swam two of the three rivers, Each one took between 40 minutes to 60 minutes to complete, Bearing in mind this included taking photos, etc! We found a little place near That did iced coffees, This was very refreshing and they were amazing! The cinnamon buns are also Yummy! Even though we didn’t do the big activities, The day flew by! We walked around discovered The Aviary, The Jaguar and puma, And also watched the dolphins. Before we knew it, it was time to get ready for the night show. We went back to my locker, showered and got changed into dry clothes and made our way to the night Show. As we were walking to the show, there were people dressed in mayan costumes And people playing music. This was a great opportunity to get some more photos. The night was brilliant, To be able to get an idea of the history and culture behind Mexico was amazing! The music and dancing was absolute five star! If you go to Mexico, you have to do Xcaret!

Amazing Experience in XCaret - Is the most amazing place to enjoy the fauna. That park is too big but incredibly beautiful, you need more than 1 day to know the park. Mexican people are very friendly and welcoming. Ivan, Alejandro’s driver and all the staf, thank you so much. We lived an amazing experience with Mexico Expectacular. If is your first time visiting that place, please stay up to the final show. We will back again soon!

A very fun, informative, well-organized and friendly Eco-park that showcases different sides of Mexico! - This theme park is one of the most well managed, thoughtful and organized parks I have ever been! I have so many good things to talk about it - even knowing how good it is going, I was still pleasantly surprised multiple times throughout the day. Firstly, there’s different routes painted on the floor with different colours to different areas and each attraction spots has its own number. It makes it so easy to just follow the color to where you want to go. Secondly, there’s many staff throughout the park you can ask direction from and all of them were super helpful and friendly. I fell down and hurt myself, and the staff kindly led me to the first aid room, waited for me and made sure I am okay and knew how to go to my next spot before leaving. This is not like any parks but a natural park that showcases many different sides of Mexican culture, practices and landscape, even a Mexican fashion show, local market and a cemetery. The underground rivers was one of the most amazing experience I had there - the views were special; they arranged staff to carry your stuff with a lock and key from starting point to end point so you dont have to walk all the way back and take your things; the water was clear and clean; there’s rope you can grab to help you go faster in the water; they separated the approx. 1 hr experience to 5 sections so you can exit earlier without finishing the whole route if you want. I paid extra to join the Dolphin Ride experience - the dolphin Litzia was very cute and it was special to be able to ride with her in the water. The activity area we were in seemed relatively small for the dolphins so I hope they have another much bigger spaces at down time to swim freely and happily. The beach inside was pretty, sand was soft, tons of hammocks for people to sleep in. Dning in one of the beachside restaurants (#36) with that ocean view was very relaxing. I didnt snorkel as I saw there’s only small fishes in the water. The route in the jungle (brown line) to the night show was extra special. Starting at 6 pm, they have a welcome ceremony where different “live statues” / performers playing special characters in the Mayan tradition, would welcome you on both sides of the path. It was honestly a magical experience. And of course the night show was amazing. I particularly liked the Mayan ball game and the match where performers were playing “fire hockey” with a ball on real fire on their bare feet!! I couldnt believe they could actually score!! I also opted for the 7 course dinner at the VIP area during the show - the food was actually great, with 3 wines included and I was at ease knowing that my seat was already secured. Lastly, the transport was so well organized. You just need to follow the staff in red shirts and they would tell you which bus to hop into back to hotel. Minimal waiting time throughout the process. Xcaret park is such a well thought-out park that honestly I would want to go back again to finish other activities I couldnt this time! It definitely worths your time and money, don’t hesitate to go!

Disappointed - We arrived at the park and instantly funnelled into a queue to pay for extras such as snorkeling tour, swimming with dolphins, sharks and rays etc. These ranged from $50 - $75 per person so pricey for a party of 4 adults like us. We had already paid $752 for 4 adults so all these extra charges were very unwelcome. We felt pressurised by the way it was set out as you can't enter the park until you have gone through this charade. We felt that the turtles and dolphins were in very small enclosures. Glad we had already done a dolphin swim on isla majures as we felt it was a significantly better set up and the dolphins there seemed happier than at Xcaret (our opinion / observations) - that is important to us when choosing an activity like this. The buffet lunch was good and plentiful but you only get 1 beer each included (unlimited soft drinks) but again poor for what we paid. The river swim was good but all things considered wouldn't recommend - overpriced for what's included.
