Book! - Xplor park is a great excursion if you’re looking to try a variety of activities in one day. We booked the night experience & enjoyed it. The park has 6 different activities each of which take at least 20 minutes to complete so you will use the entire time completing the activities. The lines weren’t long at all and even though the park was busy, it didn’t overly crowded. The buffet food was pretty good & had a large variety to choose from. It’s not a true “tour”, it’s more of they provide transportation to & from the excursion. So you could opt out paying extra for the transportation however, it was pretty convenient.

Do not hesitate to book! - Viator were great with this experience! Everything was seamless. Transport to pick us up arrived on time, the introduction was very informative and helpful. We were welcomed at Xplor in good time, some of the attractions hadn’t quite re opened for the fire/nighttime entries so we headed to the snack bar, but this meant we could walk to the first attraction early so we were at the front!. We jumped straight into the amphibious vehicles and so on. The rep said an order best to do the activities, as some get busy. We were very lucky and didn’t have to que for anything! So went to whichever attraction was closest. We actually had time to spare with getting everything in so did some attractions twice before leaving with time for a the gift shop. The photo packages are a bit pricey but we got some great pics out of it. One package offers fast pass - which I’m glad we didn’t buy, as it was not needed! That doesn’t mean the park won’t be busy at other times though. In hindsight I’d have just taken my phone, because the photos spots on the rides often missed us. I.e the water slide. And lots of the other photo ops can easily be achieved with a phone and a camera on a timer. But even so, I don’t regret it!
Food on the buffet was nice! Lots of options if you don’t have any dietary needs.
Pick up was a tad disjointed but not worth dropping a star for. It wasn’t made clear we would be on a mini buss going home (as we arrived on a coach) so we sat waiting for the wrong type of transport. We decided to follow the crowds until we spotted a rep and asked which bus we should be on. I’d leave time before the departure time they give you, to get to the car park incase this happens. Although they will probably wait, it was nearly midnight before we left Xplor because the driver was waiting for people who decided to get taxis etc or didn’t appear. (Probably because they were as confused as we were!) Don’t be that person! Just ask somebody - they are happy to help. Transfer drive back was quick - driver had a good taste in music! Overall I’d book again. Really enjoyed it!

Exciting adventure to add to your list - It was a thrilling adventure. You have to like water and heights. You will get wet. Swim suits and water shoes are a must. The ATV was thrilling, the zip line was endurance completing the stairs but exciting zipping down. The hammock zip line, subterranean and rafting is relaxing but wet. We skipped water slides and swim in the slow river. Buffet was decent. You will easily spend 5-6 hours. Te service is great. You definitely will want the photo package.

100% recommended experience in xplor fire - The attractions are fun and safe. The sunset views from the tall towers are dreamy. A natural, clean, caring and respected environment is preserved. The park photo package was worth every peso.

Very fun but you should be in good shape - We had a great time. Communication and pick up was great and Jonathan met us at the entrance to tell us the details. The zip line was very fun but you should be in good shape - a lot of stairs and ramps. Aquavehicles were a blast - but pretty crazy drive. Dinner was excellent - especially the soup and ribs. Overall a great night!

Be ready for fun and adventure! - We had a blast at Explor Fuego. We went with another family, all with older chiller (17+) and it was a great experience. This trip is NOT for those who don’t want to get wet or who are not adventurous. But if you’re in for fun, this is the trip for you. Here are my best tips:
1. Come prepared: You will need closed toes water shoes. It’s also helpful to have shorts (more-comfortable for zip-lining harness) and water shirt. You can buy them in the shop, but entry time is chaotic. You’re better off to bring what you need so you can bypass the shop and get to your first activity.
2. You WILL get wet, and you WILL stay wet the whole time. Bring dry The only dry activity is the ATVs. I suggest doing those and zip lining first while you’re more dry. We went on a December evening and I definitely got cold outdoors once I was soaking wet. I was glad I bought a long sleeve shirt in the shop.
3. If you’re not sure about zip lining, do the green course first. There is not an easy way down. We had two in our group that wanted to leave the long course after 3 lines, and it took a long time to get them down and back to the center.
4. Don’t bring a lot of extra stuff. They give you lockers, but they’re not huge. Wear your swimsuit and other stuff to the park. Take a towel and dry clothes to change in to at the end. That’s all you need.
5. It will seem crowded and long lines at first, but everyone will spread out. After our first activity, we barely waited at all. We did the zip line first, which I’m glad for. I think it was much better doing it while you’re dry.
6. Bring dry clothes to change into. Our trip back was a lot longer than the trip there. I was happy to have dry clothes on the air-conditioned bus.
7. Wear well-fitting water shoes. Close-toed shoes are required for some activities. There is a LOT of walking and a LOT of stairs. None of the terrain is smooth and flat, so shoes that have non-slick bottoms and fit tight to your feet are best.
8. If you’re traveling with a group, make a meeting plan if you separate. It’s easiest to just meet back at the heart. It is helpful to have waterproof watches to coordinate the time.
Be ready for adventure!!

Always an Awesome Evening! - Always a great night! We have done this excursion multiple times and loved it every time! The buffet is amazing, activities are great, and doing them at night is such a cool experience. It wasn't a busy evening so we were virtually alone for the cave swim which was awesome! My only complaint this time would be that somehow they shuffled us into the short zipline circuit which was SUPER annoying as we'd been in line for about an hour to get our gear on and, by the time we realized we were on the short circuit it was too late. At that point, we weren't willing to get back into the line to do the longer circuit so we were a little disappointed. That being said, we still had a great night and, as always, the food was amazing! Definitely a recommended tour...just double check before entering the zipline circuit that they've got you on the right one.

Best Water Slide I have ever been on!! - Xplor Fuego was so much fun! The park was clean and well managed. You definitely need to buy the photo package. They have lots of spots to take photos. My favorite ride besides the Zip Lines which are the best I have ever been on (make sure you do those first. the views are spectacular), is the water slide! So fun! We laughed and screamed the whole way down. There is a weight limit and you also have to be 2 or 4 people. It is a long and strenuous walk and possible wait to get to the ride so make sure you make the weight limit. We had 3 in our party, so we had to wait for 1 more person to ride with us. It was well worth it though. My only comment would be the transportation back from the park. The park closed at 11pm, but we couldn't get on the bus until 11:20 and it took us forever to back to the hotel! (12:30!)

Need better information prior to attending about what is required! - Ok so this was our third time going to Xplor but this time we took friends and we couldn’t wait to show them the experience. Prices were higher but they have new water slides everyone was very excited about - only thing is: we get there and you MUST have a closed toe shoe for the water slides. Not a damn thing in any of our information said this ahead of time (and as experienced water park attendees - that is not something we’ve come across before). We have attended Xplor twice before and always wore flip flops/sandals just fine or been barefoot for certain attractions. The choice was “buy our water shoes or you can’t ride these attractions” BOO. That’s just such a crappy way to do something when we’ve traveled from NYC to do this experience. The rest of the park was wonderful - we love the ziplines and ATVs but we wish they had communicated that element ahead of time. Sucks to spend all that money and not be able to ride something. Let alone the newest thing none of us had done. The customer service was lacking in being able to help us with this too. Otherwise the park is a blast for folks looking for adventure.

The park itself was great... - The park itself was great and we had a lot of fun. LOTS of walking and lots of stairs for the zipline areas. The low rating is due to the transportation issues. When I called to confirm we were told that our hotel wasn’t on the pickup list. The rep told us the closest hotel to go to for pickup. I asked if they’ve done pickup from this hotel before for non-guests and they said yes. Turns out it was an absolute no. The hotel wouldn’t let us wait for the pickup and my messages to inform them were ignored for quite awhile. I guess they realized this and tried to change the location but it was too late. The alternative pickup point was about 15 minutes away. Not a huge deal except we had just walked the 15 minutes to the initial hotel they told us to go to. It was unprofessional to realize an error that big less than 24 hours before the booking (which is the cancellation period they have) and then basically have the attitude that we should have been checking our email constantly. YOU picked this hotel and told us to go there! I sent so many messages through the app and got to a point where I was just sending question marks because I was desperately trying to get clarity on what was going on. Of course they didn’t offer a refund for the missed transportation although it was their error. We ended up having to catch a taxi to the park which was additional money since we had no choice because no one wants to lose over $300. It sucked to pay for transportation upfront and then have to find a taxi and pay more money!
