Brilliant day out! - After looking online at the various “X” parks we decided to visit Xplor. We went as a couple, in our own car rental and arrived at 9:15 just after park opening. The day was amazing!! We managed to do every activity apart from the hammock splash- which we weren’t too bothered about seen as we had already done the zip line routes and it is essentially a less steep version of that. A storm hit while we were there which meant the zip line was initially closed so we went straight to the river rafts. We read online they can take a long time to do due to people getting stuck around the course and it being a single-lane activity. We lucked out going first. We didn’t queue long and while there were a few people getting stuck it wasn’t massively backlogged so it took about 45 mins total. By the time we had finished the zip lines were open so we went straight there. While there was a queue to get the harness and safety talk once on the route there was hardly any wait to go on the lines. Be warned there are a LOT of stairs involved in parts of the zip line route- definitely worth it though! Once you have done one route you can skip straight to the next without returning the harness- I recommend doing this as you could get stuck in another queue later if you want to split it up. It took us about 40 mins to do each route so it was 1pm by the time we had finished the rafting and the zip lines. We had a quick lunch which was very good- great variety, organized seating service. We only stopped for around half an hour as we had a lot left to do. We did the adventure walk- it can get about 4ft deep and the ground is ragged so life jackets are available. The river swim is similar environment to the walk so if you’re tight on time you could skip one, though we enjoyed both. The amphibious vehicles were great, and the water slide had quite the queue but we timed it just right by going just before it shut. There is also a wave pool at the bottom of the slide which you can go in without going on the slide even though it isn’t sign posted in the park so keep an eye out if you’d like to do that. We left at 5 when the park shut so it was a packed day. We had an amazing day and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cancun. Be mindful there is a lot of walking- we walked over 10km- but it is mostly walking through caves to get to each activity so you’re protected from the sun. If you were traveling with children and/or using shuttle bus services that leave before close you may not be able to do everything (we didn’t stop and still struggled to fit it in) so may need to prioritize what you want to do while there!

Fantastic day out - Fantastic day out. Family of 5 with 3 teens. I had read the reviews and was concerned about not having enough time to do everything to make the high entrance fee worth it so we decided to use a taxi in order to get there when the park opened. (We were staying nearby). I purchased the tickets online easily. We quickly navigated the entrance and made our way to the lockers and following advice from other reviews headed to the waterslide. The queue was minimal and so we managed 2 go’s. We had issues with weight but this was sorted efficiently and politely by the staff unlike others who claim otherwise. We then did the underground expedition and rafts. The caves were amazing. I agree with others that the rafts were our least favourite activity due to other peoples inability to steer! When we got clear water it was great but being stuck behind others got frustrating! We then did the ATV’s which were fun before heading for lunch. The food was great and being seated etc was again very efficient. After lunch we tried the hammock splash but due to a possible storm it was closed. So we did the river swim instead. We then headed to the zip lines but again due to the weather it was stopped just as we got to the front. We then waited for about 30 mins to see if it cleared. During that time the staff kept us updated and answered all our questions. We were relieved when the activity reopened and we were able to do both routes. So overall we managed to do all the activities except the hammock splash. We did have to go quickly between activities in order to fit it in but found the queues to be minimal despite it being a nice day and August! We also found every member of staff to be polite and helpful and seriously don’t know what park some of the reviewers on here have visited!! The layout with the ‘heart’ in the middle make it easy to navigate and signage is excellent. Plenty of water stations as others have mentioned. Definitely recommend for those looking for something a bit different and like a bit of adventure. Thank you to all the staff for a fabulous day out.

Great outdoor adventure park - Great adventure park, vast natural underground caverns to explore on foot or on a raft, fun off-road vehicle driving experience, zip lines, the lunch buffet was way better than I expected with large variety of food, and the outdoor snack shack gave as much juice as you wanted with as much snacks as you wanted. A family with hungry teenage boys could make out really well here.

Very worth it with teenagers - The most important with so many tiroles and being Father...the park is Safe !!! Careful staff in general and well trained! Lunch with a lot of variety and being a giant buffet yet a well crafted food Now know that to do the whole circuit you have to be quick even the park being not big and not even without so many attractions This eh the bad side of the park...it closes at 17h and I found a lot of running...not the time to contemplate the beauties of the place In my opinion they should have longer hours that the experience would be more pleasant because it is less running!

Amazing day at Xplor - Took my 6 year old nephew here and it was fantastic. We booked direct through their website with transportation. Transportation was great air conditioned and very comfortable. The activities were fabulous. Our guide on the bus gave us a tip which was amazing. Everyone says do the zip lines first, but everyone is doing that. Do the other activities, have an early lunch and then hit the zip lines. We started on the first circuit the green line about 1:15 and there was zero lineups. My nephew is a daredevil but the only flag is if you’re going with a little one who might be scared make sure to get the harness that you can go tandem together. I didn’t have the right one on so he went by himself (he was totally fine). If kids are nervous I’d suggest starting at the splash hammock. That was a great starter on what to expect The swim through the cave, jeep ride and all the activities were so fun. As the reviews all say I can confirm that lunch was amazing. So many options! Although an expensive ticket it was totally worth it for us to take the day trip down from Cancun!

Great park - just a few things to be aware of - As the reviews here show, this is a very good park to visit and has a lot of positives. The activities are all good, with some being more exciting than others, so there is something for everyone. They are well organized and well signed making it easy to navigate, with lots of staff around to assist. The food and drink that is included is also plentiful with a wide variety of choices, and includes healthier options as well. There are a few things that I’d highlight following our first visit to help others: - I did invest in cheap water shoes and they were worth it. You do really need closed toe shoes and while you could use trainers or similar I wouldn’t recommend it. Some of the surfaces are a little rough so you might want a better shoe for more protection, but even something cheap is better than turning up with nothing and being fleeced in the shop - The lockers are quite small, about enough for one backpack - While the activities are good, if you get stuck behind someone slow it does take the edge off. This is particularly true of the ATVs (slow drivers seemed to be oblivious to the fact they are holding others up and don’t make use of the limited passing places) and the rafts - You will do quite a lot of walking, not only around the park, but especially on the zip lines. I’m pretty fit and it was still quite tiring - Arrive before 9am and get a fast start. We managed to do everything once and the water slide twice, but only finished shortly before the park closed at 5 - There is no ‘right’ order to do everything. The less exciting activities tend to be quiet early on, and we managed 5 before lunch. However we nearly ran into trouble as if there is a storm they close the zip lines and water slide, so do check the forecast before you go. Fortunately for us they weren’t closed for long - We did buy the photo package but found the results a little disappointing. Although over 100 shots were taken I’d say about 5-10 are usable since many contained the wrong people, or just weren’t very good - The water slide is great BUT they do insist on 4 people in every raft and the weight limits are strictly followed. If you are a 1/2/3 you will be matched with others and this might delay you. I will say on one ride we had just under the 320kg limit and the ride was so much better! One last point that resulted in me only giving the park 4 instead of a 5 rating, was around sun cream. They don’t allow regular cream so I didn’t bring any - however they only give free approved sunscreen to those that have regular cream to exchange, otherwise you have to buy some from their shop. It’s total nonsense and the staff at the customer service desk were very inflexible on this point which I thought was ridiculous. Equally we saw loads of people using regular sunscreen and nobody seemed to stop them. I strongly suggest that the park should provide free sunscreen to all

Xploring New Adventures and Making Memories (June 2023) - After an hour ride south, we enjoyed a great day at Xplor. For health reasons, I was not allowed to go Ziplining. One of the main reasons I was excited about spending a day Xploring the jungle. Even though I disagreed with the reason, I understand where the company is coming from. My kids had a great time zip-lining, and my wife and I enjoyed paddling the Mayan way underground. There were healthy snacks to eat all day and smoothies to drink. We really enjoyed the lunch buffet. Good food includes burgers, chicken, salads, ice cream, and Coke. We enjoyed the afternoon driving off-road vehicles through water, swimming in caves, and taking many pictures. We had purchased the package that gave round-trip transportation from our hotel to Xplor and the photo package. It was a fun day to try new activities and make memories together.

Amazing time but beware - This is an amazing park! It’s definitely a full day thing if you want to experience all the attractions! I went with my sister and her boyfriend and we loved it. Two things we wish we could’ve been forewarned about is 1. The waterslide closes at 4:30pm. We weren’t able to enjoy the waterslide at all. Soon as we got in line the lady said it was closed. Very disappointed…2. There are 9, let me repeat…9!!!!!!! Towers of zip-lining and once you start the first, you must commit to the rest and they just get higher and higher. I only mention the height because you have to WALK ALOT. I’m not afraid of heights, it’s the walking in the heat with all this gear on. I felt like I was going to faint. No exaggeration. This is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, it’s a definite fun time for all people.

Poor value for money - Great park however the main raft slide uplift was not working the day of our visit. The staff were using a jeep to bring the rafts to the top. We waited 2 hours to use the slide missing out on other attractions. Because it’s an expensive park this made it poor value for money.
