- Islas Santa Catalina - We offer daily tours of 2 dives, from Monday to Sunday. Our star destination for the diving tour are the Catalinas Islands and North Island, rock formations of volcanic origin, some 40 minutes away from the coast. The tour starts at 7.30 am in our dive center, located in Flamingo, where you will fill out the paperwork and the equipment will be tested. The tour will end around noon.
The water temperature in the north coast of the Costa Rican Pacific ranges between 16-30°C / 60-86°F according to the time of year. Visibility can vary almost daily.
The rocky bottom of our coasts is the perfect home for a wide variety of marine life, some species of which are seasonal in this area (giant manta rays or humpback whales). White tip sharks, different types of rays, moray eels, nudibranchs, angelfish, butterfly fish, as well as large schools of colorful tropical fish are often observed.
Each of our dives usually lasts a maximum of 40 minutes at 18 meters depth (60 feet).

I love diving with Pacific Coast Diver Center - I've been diving with Pacific Coast Dive Center for three years now and would not dive anywhere else. The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable and the divers who lead the dives are very experienced and always provide a great dive. It's like diving with a group of friends. Diving in the Pacific near and at Catalina Islands always offers wonderful fish and sea creatures. The dive groups are small which makes it a personalized dive experience. I can't wait to return next year.

Unforgettable Diving Experience - We booked multiple dives with Pacific Coast Dive Center. This was by far the highlight of our trip. We did 3 days of diving with them and we got to dive with Jose, Ivan, and Risky and they were all were amazing. They made sure everyone was safe and had a great time. I hadn't been diving in years, but felt comfortable from the first dive.
We got to see sharks, turtles, rays, lots of fish and explore multiple dive spots around the islands. These guys all know their way around these spots and were great at pointing things out to us while diving to make sure we got the full experience. They provided us with coffee, fruit and snacks. Honestly, the perfect way to spend our days down in Costa Rica.
I would highly recommend these guys. Extremely knowledge, safe, and lots of fun. These guys were really enjoyable and a lot of fun. We will be booking with them when we come back.

The starfish were amazing, and so is the staff! - The staff were incredible! Angie was an amazing dive leader and knowledgeable on the wildlife that we'd see.
The equipment was also great and we saw some beautiful starfish with orange accents 🤩

Very nice dives - We came to dive with them. Good supervision, very friendly staff. We dived with Angie from the divecenter who also speaks French, she made us comfortable, well explained for the dives we were going to do. The dives were beautiful we saw lots of sharks reef and white spikes, morays, rays, they were dives we didn't expect to have so many fish. Visibility was 4 to 6m. We recommend the divecenter. Big thank you Angie for the dives.🤙
P.S-the date of the camera is not up to date. The dives were made on 20.11.2024.

Fantastic! Highly recommend! - This was my first “real” dive after getting PADI certified in the US and I was a little nervous about holding people back since I was so new. Communication with Phil, one of the owners, was very easy via WhatsApp. He recommended I pay a little extra for a private guide. He also helped arrange transportation from my remote hotel.
We went out on a smaller boat because their larger boat gets dry docked and fixed up during the off season. It was a mix of snorkelers and scuba divers. For snacks they offered cookies, fruit, and choice of a drink. The rental equipment seemed to be in excellent condition. The staff were friendly and genuinely seemed to be having fun.
The weather was rainy and visibility not great, but it was still an amazing experience! Special shout-out to my personal guide Ivan- he was very patient- on the first dive we started with a few drills to revisit skills, then went on the tour. We saw lots of different types of fish, eels, rays, and even a couple of white tipped sharks! I am confident enough after this that the next time I dive I will not need special help.
After the dive Ivan sent me GoPro videos (I paid extra for this) and also my dive information to log.
Whether you are experienced or a beginner, I would 100% recommend diving with this company.
