Great way to enjoy the beach! - Since we were not staying at a resort, we didn't have access to any beach amenities. This service came in handy! It was nice to have shade and someone to help get drinks/food from Coco Loco restaurant. A couple of things to note - it wasn't set up when we arrived in the morning. We had to ask them to do that and waited about 15 minutes for everything to be ready. I would have thought that they would have it ready to go. And the towels that they provided we not beach towels. More like old bath towels. Other than that the staff member was attentive and had a great personality.

Great service - This is a must do for a beach day. Great service. Much needed shade. No need to worry about set up or packing up. Plenty of water and beer in the coolers.

Great day at the beach - Our family really had a great time at Flamingo Beach. It is a gorgeous setting and the customer service was excellent. We also really liked the cafe!

The ONLY way I would do Flamingo Beach - This is the only way to go to Flamingo Beach! Alvaro, Walter and the whole crew took care of setting up the shade, chairs, towels, cooler with waters, boogie boards and even a Bluetooth speaker. They even made we had a shaded spot to park our car. We also opened a tab at Coco Loco and they checked on us for our food and drink needs periodically. One tip is to bring a little cash (Colones) for tips.

Shade is a must on Flamingo - Canopy and chairs were set up immediately. It took over an hour for the cooler with beer water and ice to show up. No bluetooth speaker (as advertised) was provided.

Flamingo Beach is great for massages - We just recently visited Costa Rica & absolutely loved it. The country is beautiful, people are super friendly & helpful and most importantly we felt very safe even late at nights in dimm locations and there are plenty of those because public lighting is minimal. But what stuck out was our visit to Flamingo beach. We got our massages on the beach, I highly recommended it and @ $40/hr you can’t go wrong. Great finish to a relaxing day on the beach. At dusk we are walking back to our car and noticed what appeared to be public showers. There were a few people in front of us and by our turn, a security guard named Edwin approached us and says, its for guests only. We started to turn around and walk away without even replying or arguing but I guess the lady in front of us was so second hand embarrassed that she says in Spanish to the guard this couple is with us. To which he responds no they are not and proceed to argue with her and signals us to leave. Thats where I thought he went out of his way to make a point and earn my review. Its almost as if he had to stand his ground instead of just letting it go. why Edwin ? I was already walking away. That was uncalled for Edwin. You were by far the rudest person we ran into at Costa Rica during our visit. You didn’t know for sure if we were guests, or going to the bar and insisted to argue with the lady in Spanish over a feet shower. WOW
