Best snorkeling in the area! - Jose and Ivan were great snorkeling guides today! they were so much fun and it was the perfect amount of time for snorkeling. we are very happy we went with them for snorkeling as there is a ton more options in the area but this did not disappoint. While they can’t promise anything in terms of what you will see we did get to see a ton of fish, some reef sharks, whales in the distance, dolphins on the boat, an eagle ray, and more small critters in the ocean! We are worn out from swimming but it was a lot of fun and felt relaxed but organized. You can tell everyone here loves their job. We opted in to receive photos which was not very much added on. If we come back to tamarindo we will definitely be back! 🌊🤿

A great days snorkelling with a great team - We had decided to snorkel with PDC before we went to Costa Rica, and booked a trip through our hotel as soon as we arrived. The pick up and transfer to PDC HQ was on time and trouble free. After signing our wavers we were bussed to the beach and transferred to the dive boat via a small shuttle craft. The trip out to the islands takes about 45 mins. As a keen birder it was great for me, as there were Terns, Gulls, and as we approached the islands, Frigate Birds, Brown Boobies and Vultures to see. The see was a bit choppy, but that is beyond the control ofctge dive team so I'll focus on them. It was a mixed Scuba and Snorkelling trip, so the snorkellers waited on the top deck while the Scuba divers were tanked up, briefed and entered the water. Then the snorkellers went in. There was a team member at the front, and a team member at the rear of the group and they made sure everyone stayed between them. Despite the chop on the water we saw tons of great fish There are two snorkelling stops, each of 40 mins, one on each side of the islands. I've done a fair few snorkelling trips, in the Caibbean, Agean and in Maui, but the attention to detail I saw from the PDC crew was beyond anything I'd ever seen. They are SUPER safety concious, very professional, but at the same time, engaging, personable and very very helpful. They were quite frankly the best crew I've ever snorkelled with. The whole team were great, but I want to call out one team member, Risky ( dont worry obout the name. Trust me, the guy is a pro). My wife had an issue with her mask when she first got in the water and got in a bit of a panic.( It's her own mask, not a PDC one). Risky was straight on it, calmed her down, sorted her out and swapped her mask for a PDC one then stayed with her till he was sure she was ok. He was an absolute star and my wife was soon enjoying great snorkeling. We both felt very safe with Risky in the water with us. Risky, If you read this, you are a top guy. Thank you. I dont know if we will ever get back to The NW coast of Costa Rica, but if we do, we will book with PDC again. The best crew I've ever snorkelled with. Simple as that.

Loved this excursion - We loved this trip. The crew was awesome. Helpful. Friendly. Fun. And made sure we were all safe. Saw many beautiful fish. And octopus. It was a bit windy and wavy and the captain was in full control. Definitely a highlight for our trip to Guanacaste. Would use this company again.

Fun experience that doesn't take all day! - You get 2 snorkel sites with about 40 minutes or so at each site (plenty of time). The guides help with locating things to see. We saw nurse sharks, eagle ray, sting ray, and a variety of fish. It was a good time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The boat is a 5 minute drive from dive shop. Meet at 7:30 am at dive shop, and we were done 12:30 pm. They give you fruits and cookies between sites, but with the swimming it was good to be done in time to head to lunch. You travel with divers, so if someone in your group wants to dive you can all travel together.

Best snorkel experience - My husband and I snorkeled with the guys at Pacific Coast Dive Center and had the best time. Risky, Jose and Josue were an incredible crew, and made us feel safe the entire time. They were super knowledgeable about all the fish and wildlife we saw, and we were even fortunate enough to see some whales while on the boat, which they took the opportunity to stop the boat and let us watch them for a while. You can tell these guys are passionate about what they do, and I couldn’t recommend them enough! 10/10 would book with them again!

Great Family Experience - We had a great time! the boat and experience all were well-managed, safe and clean with plenty of experienced divers for the group size. All of our family had a great time and saw tons of fish and other marine life on the reefs.

Great Crew Made a Great Experience - All the staff was great, the crew was outstanding especially Angie. Reservations were quick and easy. The meeting before launch was very helpful and engaging. The crew on the boat and in the water were superb. On the boat several people had motion sickness and the crew was empathetic and attentive. The waves were a little rough but we still had an excellent time. We highly recommend the trip.

Snorkeling - Very friendly crew who are experienced. I went along for the boat ride with family who snorkeled. Loved the views from the boat! Saw dolphins!

Don't blame the Ptovider - Sea was rough and the water was murky, so it was not very good. The crew was extraordinary, however, and I would definitely try again.
