Excellent- certainly worth a visit - We visited for a private wildlife tour on Thursday 8th. We had an amazing time thanks to our fantastic guide Msizi Shange. He was very knowledgeable and had a great affinity with the animals. It helped that it was an overcast day so the animals were in view (not hiding in the shade). Obviously you can only see the lions, cheetah & leopard from behind a fence but you are still very close. Plenty of picture opportunities! You can walk amongst the African wild cats, servals & tortoises. There are also a caracals, a few penguins, cranes, herons & very playful meerkats. We would highly recommend a visit here.

Close encounters - What a great experience! The lovely Bonnie was so friendly and knowledgeable and allowed us into some of the enclosures so that we could take some great photos while she fed the big cats. Thanks Bonnie - you are so natural and friendly and an asset to the sanctuary. We enjoyed chatting with you on our private tour of Tenikwa. Big hugs from your friends from the UK xxx

Amazing experience ❤️ - We had an amazing private-tour with Keri. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us to see these gorgeous beautiful fantastic animals up close❤️ and we learned so much about them. What a wonderful place for them to live, and their well-being is number 1 for their caretakers. We thank Keri for a amazing experience! 🙏 Keep up the good work, you are angels for helping these animals and so many others too.

GREAT INTRODUCTION TO BEING CLOSE UP WITH WILD ANIMALS - As a lover of seeing wild animals in their natural environment it takes awhile to adjust to seeing animals in enclosures. Having said that one must accept that the animals you see have been rescued and continue to live a lovely life. Not only that but Tenikwa do an amazing amount of good work in rehabilitating animals to go back into the wild, these animals you do not see as contact with humans is minimised. I enjoyed doing the tour and the Guide was very knowledgeable and thus I learnt a lot. I do recommend that you visit Tenikwa and it is worth every minute

Absolutely brilliant experience. - My wife and I went on the 2 hour private wildlife tour with the most fantastic guide Msizi, who I believe is one of the senior rangers at the place. His knowledge about the animals was truly second to none and it was obvious to both of us that he really enjoyed his work. He was a credit to the organisation. The tour itself was very very good and we saw plenty of wild animals, all with a history of either illness or persecution, which resulted in them being brought into the sanctuary. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit very much and would urge others to visit if you are ever in the area.
