This tour starts at the meeting point at 5:30am for coffee, tea, biscuits, and a little fruit before you start your tour. Sambola Tours Tortuguero is happy to offer a dry-bag and binoculars for your personal use on the tour.

- Wheelchair users are more than welcome! Just let us know what accommodations you will need and we are happy to help! We will help you into the canoe and the wheelchair will be kept safe in our office for the duration of the tour.

Amazing Experience - Fabulous experience, both the turtle tour but especially the canoe ride through the canals of the Tortuguero Park. Adrian a Great Guide. Highly recommended

Canoe tour - Very nice tour! With a great tour guide, Kevin! Way better than a tour with motorboat because they make a lot of noise. Saw a lot of animals!

Amazing tour - We had amazing tour with Kevin! He is the best!!!! We saw lots off animals monkeys birds we loved it! He could tell us everything about the rainforest!

Once in a lifetime experience!!!!!! - We had a private canoe tour with Kevin, and it was honestly breath taking! By going with a canoe instead of a motor boat, we were able to go deep into the rain forest which was absolutely beautiful!!! Kevin showed us multiple species of animals and really took his time to make sure we saw everything!! 10000/10 experience!

Amazing trip - The trip was amazing. We got to see a lot of animals and our guide was realy good. It was raining in the beginning but after 20 minutes it was over and we got the sun

Amazing family tour - We had a great tour with Sambola and we would highly recommend them! They’re a family owned business with a lot of knowledge and passion for nature. We saw monkeys, birds, iguanas, cayman and more! Thank you so much Adrian and Kevin!

Fantastic experience with excellent organisation - Truly a breathtaking experience on the water through the Tortuguero national parc. Kaimann crocodiles, tucans, macaws, herrons, green emerald lizard, many birds. The guides have a great sense of humour and are eco friendly. Definitely recommend anyone who visits this place, also turtle hike at night. Organisation 10/10.

Great under the rain canoe tour - The attention to every detail, helpfulness to accommodate our needs and friendliness make it a great experience.
Thanks to Ody who answered every mail/question in a very short time as well as her recommendations for our sleeping arrangements.
Kevin and his great energy and the rest of the staff. Everyone nice and helpful.
The canoe tour was under a lot of rain, to be expected this time of year… well aware of our chances. We still got to see some animals and have a few good laughs thanks to Roberto our guide.
Highly recommended.

We saw so many animals !!!!!!! - We had a really nice boot tour with Robert as a guide!! He was very experienced and knew how to find the animals (tucan, many different birds, monkeys, sloth, iguana, caimans) and told us interesting facts about them! Since he is a native, he told us about the island and nature in general as well. Also it was fun and an adventure, since he drove us through the smallest canals to see caiman’s. We felt really entertainment by his humor. Everyone we talked to in the office (Odi!!!) was very nice and helpful as well! We can really recommend to choose him for a good experience!!
