• Moraca River Canyon - Just 30 minutes away from Podgorica there is a spectacular canyon of Moraca river, about 30 km long and up to 1000 m deep, famous for its steep cliffs. Our stop will be in the middle of the canyon with a view on clear and green Moraca river.
• Moraca Monastery - One of the most significant Montenegrin monasteries is located just next to the Moraca river, and contains some of the most beautiful icons and frescoes not just in Montenegro but in the Balkans. There is a great history behind this 8 centuries old religious place and it is one of the most visited monasteries in Montenegro.
• Biogradska Gora National Park Visitor Centre - Some 90 km away from Podgorica, the national park Biogradaska Gora will welcome us with its primeval forest, one of the 3 remaining in Europe. In the heart of the park there is a beautiful Biogradsko Lake with nice and mild for walking 3.3 km long path around the lake. It is a real chance to feel the harmony with nature, to breathe deeply and enjoy tranquility in the shade of up to 60 m tall and 400-500 years old trees.
• Mrtvica Canyon - We will visit the place where Mrtvica River joins Moraca River and emerging from an over 1200m deep canyon. Clean and exciting Rijeka Mrtvica is known for its hiking route through the canyon, the initial part of which we can do, if you wish.

This tour is designed to introduce you to the natural beauty of the northern part of Montenegro, the way of life of the locals, but also to bring you closer to the turbulent and interesting history of these regions. The tour encompasses visit to the place where two beautiful Montenegrin rivers are merging, Mrtvica and Moraca, driving through the spectacular 1000 meters deep Moraca canyon , Biogradska Gora national park with its glacial lake gem and centuries old untouched forest. Our plan is to take a slow walk around the lake (3 km long path) and have a closer look at flora and fauna. Before we head to real Montenegrin heights we won’t miss a chance to visit one of the three most famous Montenegrin monasteries – Moraca Monastery, the story of which will deepen your understanding about Montenegro’s society many centuries of existence. Additional option of this tour would be a walk through a part of a very interesting Mrtvica river canyon and a cable car ride on the Bjelasica mountain.
