Ostrog Monastery Private Tour Sept 2024 - The tour is very beautiful, relax and not rushed. I would like to recommend this to any tourist who want to see the popular Ostrog Monastery of Montenegro. Especially, if you are travelling to the Monastery from Podgorica City Centre. You will have a relax and pleasant trip with Dragan, the operator of Fine-Car Doo and guide of this tour. His car, a sedan, is very clean and neat just like him. You won't be afraid to sit inside his car so much as with him as your tour guide. Thanks Dragan for the tour - I recommend this tour if you have half a day in Podgorica. The car ride was maybe an hour away to the monastery and then they have a shuttle to take you up to the top from the parking lot. Walking and stairs not too bad since the monastery is small.

Really nice - Dragan was really welcoming. Contacted me prior to the D day to explain to me how the pick up will work etc Free water offered during the trip. Dragan was really flexible and agreed to start the tour earlier than the expected start time. Amazing weather on the arrival at Ostrog. Really recommend Dragan as a guide.

To see - Clinging to the mountain, it is definitely a monastery to visit if you come to Montenegro and pass by Podgorica, which is about 50 minutes away. The monastery is quite small and there is at least a nice queue (45 minutes) to enter. If you have too much outstretched clothing or shorts at the entrance they give you an apron to cover the nudity! There are quite a few people on pilgrimage. From the parking lot there is an uphill staircase of 10-15 minutes depending on the pace. Avoid the hot hours
