The journey offers grand views of Annapurna as we pass through farm villages and towns, eventually reaching Bhirethati, one of the most charming villages around Annapurna.
From here, the trek follows the Modi River for a short walk through low and warmer farm areas, then ascends stone steps to reach the Gurung village of Ghandruk.
In Ghandruk, stay overnight in a comfortable lodge with views of the Annapurna peaks. You’ll have time to explore this lovely Gurung village, which serves as a gateway to many treks and adventures in the Annapurna region.

From here, the trail climbs for an hour or more to reach a hilltop.
After the climb, follow a gradual winding path paved with fine stonework to reach above Chomrong village, then descend briefly to reach our overnight stop in the large village of Chomrong.
