From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and stress-free.
A huge credit goes to our amazing guide Padam Katwal, who was not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly kind and motivating throughout the journey. He kept us safe, informed, and inspired—sharing local stories, pointing out mountain peaks, and making sure we were always comfortable and smiling.
The trek itself was a dream come true—lush forests, traditional villages, warm teahouses, and that final breathtaking view of Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks.

5-Day ABC Trek with Ram Tamang – An Unforgettable Himalayan Escape - We just returned from the incredible 5-day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Holiday Planner Treks, and it exceeded all expectations! What made this journey truly special was our amazing guide, Ram Tamang. His deep knowledge of the trail, warm personality, and constant support made the trek smooth, safe, and unforgettable.
From the very first day, Ram took care of every detail—from organizing tea house stays to encouraging us during steep climbs. The trail offered everything: rhododendron forests, cascading waterfalls, traditional Gurung villages, and, of course, jaw-dropping mountain views. The highlight was standing at ABC at 4,130m, surrounded by the massive peaks of Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare.
Despite the short duration, the trek was well-paced and filled with rich cultural experiences and natural beauty. The entire team at Holiday Planner Treks was professional and caring. We highly recommend this trek to anyone short on time but seeking a true Himalayan adventure—and if you can, request Ram Tamang as your guide. He’s the best!

Amazing experience, EXCELLENT guide - I’ve been on many treks with many tour groups, and can confidently say Holiday Planner Treks (and my amazing guide, Bikash) was my favorite I’ve been on. Not only was the trek spectacular (see photos), but Eaklal (the owner/coordinator) organized everything so smoothly, was always available for questions or advice, and personally helped me when my flight was delayed. On the trek itself, I was nervous being a solo female hiker, but my guide was extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and made my trip absolutely amazing. I am so grateful I booked with them and would highly recommend it to anyone- solo or group! (If you have a choice- ask for guide Bikash)

Incredible 5-Day ABC Trek with Holiday Planner Treks - We did book our 5-day Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek with Holiday Planner Treks, and they truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived in Pokhara, everything was well-organized — private transport, friendly guide, comfortable lodges, and delicious meals throughout the journey.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and always ensured our safety, especially during the steep ascents and descents. We were amazed by the beauty of the trail — dense rhododendron forests, suspension bridges, charming villages like Chhomrong and Bamboo, and the magical hot springs at Jhinu Danda. The highlight was, of course, reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters. Watching the sunrise over Annapurna I, Machapuchare, and Hiunchuli was a dream come true!
Though it was a short trek, every day was filled with incredible mountain views, cultural experiences, and warm hospitality. The team even provided us with sleeping bags, down jackets, and fresh fruits after meals. We felt well taken care of at every step.

A Perfect Himalayan Adventure: 5 Days to Annapurna Base Camp! - My 5-day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Holiday Planner Treks was beyond exceptional—everything I hoped for in a short but high-altitude adventure! From the start, communication was smooth, and every detail was well-organized. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we felt safe and motivated.
The trek itself was breathtaking—lush forests, cascading waterfalls, charming Gurung villages, and finally the stunning panoramic view from Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m). Reaching ABC surrounded by towering peaks like Annapurna I, Machapuchare, and Hiunchuli was truly surreal. Despite the tight itinerary, the pacing was perfect with enough time to rest, enjoy the scenery, and acclimatize properly.
Tea house accommodations were basic but cozy, and the food was surprisingly good—even at higher altitudes. I especially appreciated the warm hospitality from the locals.

Everything was perfectly arranged — from transportation and permits to accommodation and meals — allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas without any worries.
A huge thanks to our amazing guide, Ram Tamang, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and always attentive to our needs. He made the trek safe, fun, and insightful, sharing stories about the mountains and local culture along the way.

Unforgettable 5-Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek with the Amazing Merman Tamang! - I recently completed the 5-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Holiday Planner Treks, and it was truly the adventure of a lifetime! From the very beginning, the organization and communication were smooth and professional. Our guide, Merman Tamang, was absolutely outstanding. He was knowledgeable, patient, and deeply passionate about the mountains. His explanations of the culture, nature, and local life added so much meaning to our journey. He also made sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying every step of the trek.
Our porter was equally amazing – always cheerful and strong, carrying our bags effortlessly while greeting us with a smile at every stop. The teamwork between Merman and the porter created a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the trek.

Experience of a life-time - The 5-day ABC trek was the highlight of my Nepal trip. While the daily hikes (6–8 hours) pushed me out of my comfort zone, the stunning scenery and incredible support from my guide made it unforgettable. The trail mixes lush rhododendron forests, terraced villages, and jaw-dropping Himalayan vistas, culminating in the sunrise over Annapurna range and Machapucchre - pure magic.
My guide, Bikash, was patient, knowledgeable and prioritized safety. Porter handled logistics seamlessly. Surprisingly good food: Fresh dal bhat, momos, reasonably priced considering remoteness of the area.
Despite the altitude (4,130m at ABC), acclimatization stops and cozy lodges kept fatigue manageable. But if you are not used to elevation, consider a longer (7-8 days) tour.
Prepare for endless stone stairs and rocky paths-hiking poles are a must. Hot showers were available ar every stop, be prepared for a very rustic experience :)
This trek is perfect for those seeking adventure without extreme technical demands. Don't hesitate to book with 'Holiday Planner Treks', they handle everything to perfection !
Pro Tip: Pack light, bring electrolyte tablets, and start training stairs beforehand.
