Ghorepani - Poon Hill – Tadapani - Ghandruk
Ghandruk - Rise early in the morning with warm clothes and hike up to Poonhill (3210m). You don’t need to carry much as you’ll return to collect your main rucksacks later. Manaslu ranges, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and other mountains. After this unforgettable view, return to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then, trek to Ghandruk, starting with a steep uphill section to Deurali pass, which is at a similar elevation to Poonhill. You’ll see all the mountains from here as well. After that, hike down to Tadapani and continue through Baisi Kharka (Buffalo pasture) to Ghandruk, one of the largest Gurung villages. Here, you can visit the Gurung Culture Museum to learn about the Gurung way of life. From this village, you can still see views of snow peaks. The trek from Ghorepani to Ghandruk (1939m) takes 6-7 hours, and you’ll stay overnight at a lodge.
