Gliding is a sport that relies on specific weather conditions. While you can enjoy gliding in Nepal throughout the year, the most favorable periods are March to May and October to December. Mandre Danda, with an elevation of 1788 meters (5866 feet), serves as the launch point for these glides. This location rewards you with stunning views of Fewa lake and the mountains during sunrise and sunset (when the sky is clear). The landing zone is conveniently located near the Fewa lake. No prior experience is necessary as trained pilots will provide a brief orientation before each flight.

Your adventure begins at your hotel, where our driver will meet you. A 20-minute jeep ride will take you from Pokhara to Mandre Danda. Once there, you will have the chance to glimpse three of the world’s tallest peaks- Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manasalu, each standing over 8000 meters high. We offer 3 different tandem gliding options from this point. After a 30-minute flight from Mandre Danda, you will touch down near Fewa lake, from where you’ll be escorted back to your hotel.
