Day 01: At 9am, the guide will pick up participants from their hotel or residence in Pokhara. A bus ride of approximately 2 hours will follow. Afterward, there will be a 45-minute walk. Upon reaching the village house, participants will be accommodated in a homestay with a welcoming local family. Lunch will consist of simple, traditional Nepali meals….
Day 01: At 9am, the guide will pick up participants from their hotel or residence in Pokhara. A bus ride of approximately 2 hours will follow. Afterward, there will be a 45-minute walk. Upon reaching the village house, participants will be accommodated in a homestay with a welcoming local family. Lunch will consist of simple, traditional Nepali meals. In the afternoon, the housewife will introduce commonly used cooking tools. Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay at the homestay.
Day 02: Orientation session: After breakfast, the housewife and guide will explain the methods of cooking Nepali dishes. After lunch, participants will visit the kitchen for a demonstration. After dinner, they will rest for the night.
Day 03: Experience and learning day: Participants will use the necessary cooking tools with guidance from the housewife and guide, who will monitor and provide instructions as needed. This day is enjoyable, working in the kitchen with fresh vegetables from the garden and preparing organic foods. After dinner, participants will rest.
Day 04: The activities of Day 03 will be repeated in the kitchen with the guide and housewife.
Day 05: The local family and farmer will acknowledge the participants’ efforts with a farewell program. After lunch, there will be a 40-minute walk, followed by a bus ride back to Pokhara. The guide will accompany participants to the office to present them with a certificate. Finally, they will be dropped off at their hotel, marking the end of the trip.
