Ulleri - The journey begins with a local bus ride to Nayapul, taking approximately 1.5 hours to reach the trek’s starting point. Upon arrival at Nayapul, the trek to Ulleri (2,070m/6,791ft) commences. The sounds of the Modi River, birds chirping, and the stunning rhododendron forest enhance the hiking experience. An overnight stay at a lodge is planned.
Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,675m/8,776ft)
Ghorepani - The trek continues from Ulleri to Ghorepani, passing through the renowned village of Banthali, home to the Magar community, offering breathtaking views of Annapurna South (7,219m/23,684ft), Himchuli (6,441m/21,132ft), and more. After crossing several streams and trekking through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests, Nangethanti is reached. Ghorepani provides trekkers with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains like Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and a glimpse into traditional Nepalese life.
Ghorepani to Poon Hill and Trek to Ghandruk (3,180m/10,433ft)
Poon Hill - The trek begins before dawn to reach Poon Hill base in time for the stunning sunrise. It takes about an hour to reach the top from the base. Upon arrival, the sunrise is awaited, offering a mesmerizing view of sunlit mountains such as Annapurna I, Fishtail, and Dhaulagiri.
Ghandruk - Following this, the trek returns to Ghorepani. After breakfast, the descent towards Ghandruk begins, a charming Gurung village in the Kaski District known for its warm hospitality. An overnight stay in a teahouse in Ghandruk is planned.
Ghandruk to Pokhara (827m/2,713ft)
Pokhara Lakeside - The trek from Ghandruk follows a scenic route downhill, bidding farewell to the majestic mountains like Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, and Himchuli. After traversing beautiful rhododendron forests, streams, and several suspension bridges, Birethanti is reached. From Birethanti, the trek continues downhill, following the Modi River to Nayapul. A local bus ride from Nayapul returns to the beautiful city of Pokhara, marking the end of the tour.
