  • Pumdi Bhumdi - Drive 30 minutes to Pumdi from Lakeside after your breakfast at the hotel. Walk for 1 hour to Pumdi Kot and then proceed to the Peace Pagoda (STUPA). Travelers can enjoy views of the Himalayan peaks, Phewa Lake, and Sarangkot. Have lunch in the STUPA area, then walk down to Fewa Lake and take a boat to cross it.

Solo day trip with guide - I was a solo traveller on this occasion so decided to go with guided tours to see and learn about Pokhara from an expert. It highly recommend the short day trip as a nice one to begin with. The company provided a guide called Prakash who was absolutely fantastic, He took great care to ensure my safety, told me all about the various sights on the way and we enjoyed a traditional Nepalese lunch together. I advise stopping for coffee after the Peace Pagoda and buying some beans as this is the best tasting coffee I ever had in my life! I was collected and dropped off at my hotel and the price included teas and lunch.
