• Hunter Valley Wineries - At the first winery, the ‘Dave for the day’ will guide you through a vineyard, winery production area, or both. After gaining some knowledge, it’s time to enjoy the first wine tasting.

• Hunter Valley Wineries - Lunch is typically at a winery and the second stop, though various venues are used. A shared lunch or delicious wood-fired pizzas, salads, and a drink often spark lively conversation! Choose from beer, wine, or a soft drink. Lunch and the drink are included in the tour price.

• Hunter Valley - Post-lunch, a visit to a local family distillery’s cellar door offers gin, vodka, and liqueur tastings. It’s the perfect way to re-energize after lunch!

• Hunter Valley Wineries - The second official wine tasting of the day (excluding the wine consumed at lunch) is paired with local cheeses. Your server will guide you on the best wine and cheese combinations.

• Hunter Valley Wineries - At the final stop, choose between a wine and chocolate pairing or a paddle of locally crafted beers.

The Hunter Valley Grains & Grapes Tour offers a delightful experience of wine, cheese, and spirits tasting, complete with lunch, just a few hours north of Sydney!

What makes this tour the ultimate Hunter experience is the option to sample local beer at several stops, or continue with wine tasting and add some chocolate! The Grains & Grapes Tour caters to everyone’s preferences!

In addition to the exquisite wines, flavorful beers, and artisanal products, Dave’s is dedicated to providing a behind-the-scenes look at the production facilities, allowing guests to meet the creators and gain a genuine understanding of the region. A tour of a vineyard, winery, or both is always included in our itineraries.

We strive to visit small, family-run wineries so our guests can engage with locals and truly appreciate and understand the craftsmanship behind what they are tasting. As we visit these small producers, our tour vehicles typically accommodate between 12 and 22 passengers (including the driver).
