Fabulous - Great tour and the guide was outstanding.. very calm, knowledgeable and mannerly .. maybe a little more time to explore would make it better

Disappointing and Poorly Organized Experience - My mom and I booked this tour the day of, and initially, we were excited because the lady at the desk was accommodating and friendly, ensuring we could join the tour last minute. She told us the tour would start at 14:30 and end at 17:30 or 18:00, depending on the driver. This should have given us 2.5-3 hours to explore Alberobello. However, the experience ended up being confusing and frustrating. When we arrived for pickup, the lady came out multiple times to inform us of changes to our return time. First, she said a different driver would pick us up at 18:00. Then she changed it to 17:30. Moments later, it was back to 18:00. We were confused but remained patient & happy to have the maximum time to explore Alberobello. Upon arriving in Alberobello at 15:00, our driver confirmed that we would be picked up at 18:00, giving us ample time to enjoy the area. The tour itself was great, and we enjoyed visiting the Trulli homes, but right as we started exploring on our own, we got a call saying that due to a mix-up, we would need to leave with the tour group we had just met — cutting our time short by over an hour. Instead of the 2.5-3 hours we were promised, we barely got 45 minutes to explore. We were shocked and upset because we specifically chose this tour to maximize our time in Alberobello. When I tried to clarify the issue with the lady through text (since service was bad for calls), she kept insisting it was a 3-hour tour including travel time, which was not what she told us initially. We felt completely blindsided. Eventually, she admitted they couldn’t get us another driver, and that’s why our time was cut short — but she brushed it off as if we shouldn't have been upset. For an 80-euro tour, we expected honesty and better communication, not rushed and disorganized service. To make matters worse, when we returned, they didn’t even drop us off at the store where we were picked up. Instead, they left us at a random bus stop in a sketchy area far from the sea and nowhere near the train station. We got lost trying to find our way back and couldn’t get in touch with them for help. It felt like they were eager to assist when booking, but once we had issues, they were nowhere to be found. Overall, this was a terrible experience. We were planning to book three more tours with them, but after this, we went with another company that was much more organized and reliable. There was no offer to compensate for the inconvenience, which shows their lack of customer care. I do not recommend this tour company due to poor organization, misinformation, and a lack of accountability. Save your money and book with someone else who will value your time.
