The archaeology remains at Polonnaruwa are exhibited at the Museum of the Central Cultural Fund and its visitor centre.

Discover the second ancient capital of Sri Lanka by cycling from Colombo. Pedal your bike through the ruins of the ancient UNESCO heritage site and water reservoirs to the countryside in Polonnaruwa. This tour includes a 10 km ride around the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, where you can see 12th-century ruins and miraculous stone structures that bring pride to Sri Lanka.
You will have the chance to enjoy a mouthwatering village lunch and taste toddy. In the afternoon, we will ride alongside paddy fields and Polonnaruwa Lake, offering an amazing panoramic view. Later, we will return to Colombo and drop you off at your hotel.
