Wonderful must do for the whole family - Our favourite tour of French Polynesia. Even with the rainy start it was such a special day. The motu was the highlight, the lunch amazing, and the music/entertainment was spectacular. Do this tour! Take reef shoes though :)

A must do - amazing - A big thank you to Terehau our great guide. There were 8 of us on the boat, what can we say about this incredible experience: warm and caring welcome throughout. Terehau’s good humor, humor and enthusiasm worked wonders all day long. His kindness towards our 7 year old daughter was just a plus 😁 The visits offered are great: PariPari rum factory, “love here pearl farm” where a gift awaited all the children who accompanied us, sublime coral garden, drifting snorkeling descent. The lunch break on a motu with its feet in the water was a delight as much for the taste buds (superb tuna in coconut milk, iced coconut, fish skewers, grilled marinated chicken, etc.) as for the ears, live music from of the team and sharks that brush past us to come and eat the leftovers. And to finish the meal the “coco” show, a moment of great laughter for all of us. The day ends with a visit to a vanilla plantation, great explanation but higher price than in other vanilla plantations. If there is only one visit to plan from Raiatea it is this one 🧡🧡🧡.

Excellent tour! - This was our favourite excursion during our 35 day Hawaii/French Polynesia cruise. The tour was well organized and on time with multiple boats going out that day. Our guide was so nice and friendly(we speak French so we were able to talk to him more than some other guests). The vanilla plantation was interesting, the coral gardens were amazing, the pearl factory was awesome but the best part of the day was the beach barbeque and show! The picnic tables were partially submerged in the water with tons of little fish swimming underneath with black tip reef sharks swimming back and forth which was awesome! They were so close and so friendly! The food was amazing and the entertainment (singing and dancing) was wonderful. It poured rain a couple of times but that didn't put a damper on what a wonderful island and exceptional tour we had. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Raiatea :)

Best way to see Taha’a! - This was a fantastic way to see the island of Taha’a. Tere Ho was a personable, hospitable guide and shared about the history and culture of the Polynesian people. Bring water shoes along for the snorkel and local currency make things easier. It is a full day and a highlight of our trip!

A little disorganized, overall nice - My experience may have been different to everyone else's because it was pouring rain for the first 2 hours of the tour. We were picked up from the cruise port on time (unfortunately ended up waiting 30+ min to start the tour because other guests were late) and headed off to the vanilla plantation. The boat we were in was uncovered, the waves were rough, and by the time we arrived at the plantation we were all soaking wet, as if we had swam there. The strong wind made it really cold and unpleasant during the visit to the plantation. It was a couple of tour guides divided into different boats and every time we stopped it was a bit disorganized as to where we were supposed to go and when to reconvene as a group etc. The lunch was definitely the highlight of the trip and what made this excursion worth it. The food was freshly prepared and delicious, and there were black tipped sharks swimming around us while we ate and listened to some music being performed. Afterwards we stopped at a black pearl farm, which was a very nice informative experience. Overall I wish the tour company had taken into account the weather, but I would recommend it nonetheless.
