- Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon - Next, we proceed to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, “the Monastery of Auspicious Victory,” situated east of the historical island. The monastery’s highlight is its very large, imposing prang that dominates the area. Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon remains an active temple, with monks residing in kuti on the grounds.
- Wat Phra Sri Sanphet - Wat Phra Sri Sanphet was the most sacred temple on the site of the old Royal Palace in Thailand’s ancient capital of Ayutthaya until the city was entirely destroyed by the Burmese in 1767 during the Burmese–Siamese War. It was the grandest and most beautiful temple in the capital and served as a model for Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok.
- Wat Chaiwatthanaram - Visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a Buddhist temple in the city of Ayutthaya Historical Park, Thailand, located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, outside Ayutthaya island. It is one of Ayutthaya’s most famous temples and a major tourist attraction.
- Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit - We also visit Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, featuring a large bronze (gilded) Buddha image named Phra Mongkhon Bophit, which stands close to 17 meters high (including the 4.5-meter-high base).
