Definitely worth the day for this - Absolutely amazing day. Well planned, easy to get to the temples. Our guide Sunday was very knowledgeable and shared the history of Thailand from various perspectives. The temples were beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Great tour and knowledgeable guide - It was extremely well organized, and full tour of main sites in Ayuttaya. Guide Sunday was a very informed knowledgeable and carrying guide. Of the trips I have been on in Thailand. He rates as one of the most knowledgeable and attentive to the group. I would highly recommend additional tours with him. Our tour was cut a little bit short because of the earthquake, but that’s clearly not the fault of anyone.

Trip out of Bangkok - We had a great day thanks to our tour guide Aoi and our driver Beer. They picked us up from our AirBnb at 9:30am and drove to the first stop, about an hour away. The temples were impressive to see in person and Aoi shared with us their history. The lunch stop was at a restaurant with Thai food, not too spicy :D. We were back in Bangkok at about 5pm.

Fun if you can endure the heat - Pros: Our guide and driver were both good and professional. Mini van was fully airconditioned and seats were comfortable. Guide had a loud speaker. Cons: It's worth noting that there are very few shade covers available in some areas; you will be standing in the full heat. Although sun umbrellas can be rented, they were mostly taken when we visited. (bring your own!) Schedule was not strictly followed, we had lunch around 3pm (bring snack!)

OK. - I felt rushed from the minute I met the tour guide. Maybe I’d have enjoyed it more if I felt more relaxed. This is the second unsatisfactory tour with this company. I think I will avoid in the future. I wish them well but they need to up their game a ton.

Did not live up to rave reviews - I chose this tour because it was so highly rated on Trip Advisor and the comments were so positive. Our guide was a very kind, very devout Buddist but the content of the tour felt more proselytizing than historically informative. It made for a bit of a long day and as I sensed my fellow tour takers wilting, the guide was not able to read the crowd and pivot. In all, the day was good, but I would not give it 5 stars.
