You will acquire insights into the entire history of Talat Noi, a region that has a history preceding the establishment of Bangkok. Talat Noi’s very first inhabitants were the Portuguese who relocated from Ayutthaya, constructing a Portuguese church in 1786 which is now recognized as the Holy Rosary Church, or Wat Kalawa in Thai. Over time, Talat Noi became home to other ethnic communities, including the Chinese, Vietnamese, and Khmer. Not to mention, this area was the premier port of Bangkok and served as the arrival point for immigrants.
