Fantastic experience - Excellent way to see Pompeii. Our guide, Italio, was great. He was so knowledgeable about Pompeii and we all learned so much. Including how to navigate the site and how to understand the history of the various types of buildings. He also tried to stay out of the really crowded places as much as possible, which made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. Italio is very passionate about the site and that passion makes him an excellent guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We booked a 4 hour tour which was about right. You could spend years exploring Pompeii, but 4 hours allowed us to see quite a bit and not get too overwhelmed or exhausted. We would definitely book this tour again and completely recommend it.

A great day at Pompeii - A truly memorable day with Lello as our guide for Pompeii and Herculaneum. Two families with 4 boys aged 9-12 and Lello kept the attention of all 8 of us. Plus Marco our driver who was also terrific!

Fascinating & enjoyable way to visit a world treasure. - What an excellent day. Very interesting and well informed. He adapted to the crowds and the inaccessible areas and showed us a wide range of different features and fascinating snippets. Really enjoyed it. Very professional.

Spectacular tour - Our guide Italian was amazing!! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the sites and explained everything very clearly. It was just the two of us on the tour so we were able to avoid the very busy areas and sneak in and out of buildings quickly. One could spend hours if not days in the town so he managed to give us the highlights so that we had a full understanding of how the Pompeians lived. It was amazing and I would highly recommend!!

Amazing experience in Pompeii - This was by far the highlight of our ten days trip to Italy. We had the most wonderful, enjoyable and educational time being guided by our amazing guide Italo. He made our time in Pompeii so special by sharing his great knowledge of this wonderful place. Exciting and Informative Tour of Pompeii! - Our group of 4 really enjoyed our private tour of Pompeii in April 2024. ItIalo was our tour guide and was extremely knowledgable on the history of Pompeii. He pointed out many things that we weren't aware of and we enjoyed our conversations with him. He also provided detailed answers when we had questions about what we were seeing or the history of the city. I would highly recommend this tour and Italo!

Unforgettable Visit with Fabulous Guide - Pompeii is a wonder that would be difficult to fully appreciate on one's own, but Rossana (our passionate, engaging and warm tour guide) made our visit absolutely unforgettable. Rossana seemed to know everyone and warmly greeted at least 15 tour guides and park employees. It was obvious that she is well respected and well liked- a veritable rock star. Rosanna has been working at Pompeii for 33 years, but that has not diminshed her enthusiasm or keen interest in keeping up to date on the latest theories and discoveries. Rossana does not share her vast knowledge dryly, however. Instead, she makes the information relatable. In fact, over the 5 hours of our tour she continuously addressed each one of us by name to point out details that she knew would be of particular interest to each person. She had an amazing ability to help us visualize what life in ancient Pompeii was like and to show us that though times have changed, many aspects of life have not. As Rossana liked to say "People are people" and "There is nothing new under the sun." Rossana was also fantastic at steering us away from crowds as much as possible to make our visit more enjoyable. This was our second time having Rossana as our guide. The first time was 5 years ago, but she made such an impression that I searched high and low to find her again and specifically requested her. This visit was almost completely different from our first trip, but no less fascinating. As our tour ended, Rossana shared an Italian saying that roughly translates to "There are no two times without a third." We will definitely try to make that a reality and spend another incredible day with Rossana in Pompeii.
