Guided by a knowledgeable archaeologist, participants will enjoy an enthralling 2-hour tour of Pompeii, bringing the ancient city to life with captivating stories and insights. Following the tour, guests can relish a traditional Italian meal at a specially chosen local restaurant.

The adventure then proceeds to Mount Vesuvius, where two exceptional scenic routes are available for exploration:

Classic Itinerary – The Crater of Mount Vesuvius
Ascend to the summit and walk to the crater’s edge, taking in stunning views and experiencing this legendary volcano up close.

Alternative Itinerary – The Valley of Hell
Discover a lesser-known path through the “Valley of Hell,” traversing solidified lava from the 1944 eruption and admiring distinctive rope-shaped rock formations.

• Live guide will be provided with a minimum of 6 participants. Up to 5 participants will be provided audio guides.
• We strongly recommend that you arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
• The tour of Pompei operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately, for the part of Vesuvius instead, something could change in case of adverse weather conditions
• The guided tour of Mount Vesuvius is provided by the local guides of the National Park
• Tour times may vary due to traffic conditions and / or road closures.
• French language available Tuesday and Saturday
• Not available on December 25, January 1 and May 1
• Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended as you need to walk half an hour uphill and half an hour downhill to Vesuvius
• it is mandatory for all visitors to Pompeii to have a valid identity document with them due to the nominative tickets that they could check at the ticket office
• Not recommended for people with poor motor skills
