• Pompeii Archaeological Park - Pompeii (/pɒmˈpeɪi/) was an ancient Roman city near modern Naples in the Campania region of Italy, within the territory of the comune of Pompei. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and numerous villas in the surrounding area (e.g., at Boscoreale, Stabiae), was buried under 4 to 6 meters (13 to 20 feet) of volcanic ash and pumice during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Many inhabitants were also buried before they could escape. It is a 3-hour drive from Rome and 2 hours in Pompeii ruins.
• Positano - Positano is one of the most renowned towns on the Amalfi Coast. It’s a popular holiday destination featuring a pebble beachfront and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes. Visitors can admire colorful houses painted in shades of pink, white, and yellow, as well as Medieval Saracen towers that dot the coastline, historically used to guard the town from sea invaders. It is a 1-hour drive from Pompeii to Positano and 2 hours in Positano.
