Wonderful - Our tour of Pompeii and wine tasting were wonderful. Our Pompeii guide, Mayna, was so helpful and patient and kept it interesting and engaging for all of us, including an 11-year old. It was only the 3 of us, so turned out to be effectively a private tour. Our drivers, especially Lorenzo, were incredibly friendly. The wine tasting exceeded our expectations. Incredible wine and the food was fantastic. Umberto took care of us incredibly well and they accommodated our food restrictions (one vegetarian and one gluten-free) really well. We had a wonderful time and would do this tour again. Grazie!

Wonderful tour! - We were a mixed family group with one baby and this tour was wonderful. Giuseppe, the owner, was our driver and he was very accommodating, providing a car seat and helping to pack the stroller with us. Our guide in Pompeii was Chiara. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and also very warm with our group. She helped us navigate the stroller around Pompeii without skipping a beat. Finally, our tour of the vineyard and tasting/lunch at Sorrentino winery was the perfect way to wind down our day. The wines were delicious, the food was good, and we even met the owner of the winery. Visiting Pompeii in the winter worked out really well for us. It did sprinkle at the end of our time in Pompeii, but there weren’t the crowds typical in the summer and we could explore without feeling constricted at all. Highly recommend!

An experience I will never forget - My best friend and I were looking for a wine tasting to do while we were in Italy and I think we hit the jackpot when we signed up for this experience. The tour guide at the ruins was super friendly and informative. She made the tour fun and educational. Then our driver to the winery made us feel so at home. You could tell he really cared about us having a nice, relaxing time. The winery was exquisite. Due to the season, the grapes were not on the bushes, but the views were still amazing. You get a full 360 view of the volcano, the mountain range, and the ocean. It was breathtaking. The service in the winery was also perfect. They brought out a variety of different wines and food courses (all of which tasted amazing). This was an experience I will never forget and I hope that one day I can come back and do it again.

Enjoyed the tour with my... - Enjoyed the tour with my wife! Francesca our guide was extremely knowledgeable and great at story telling! We were charmed by the sights and the story telling really helped us better appreciate what we were viewing.

Fantastic experience - It was a wonderful experience. We opted for the round trip with pick up and drop off at our hotel in Naples. The drivers (Lorenzo and Gennaro), tour guide (Theresa), and staff at the winery were all fantastic. A lovely way to learn about history in Pompei and enjoy Italian wines and food at the winery.

Absolutely recommend! - We had so much fun traveling to Pompeii with Genaro, a true comedian and so welcoming. He recommended us a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The tour was amazing! Our tour guide and her son welcomed us. She was extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the history. It's a must do tour with the winery!!! Food and wine were both delicious.

Pompeii and wine? Sign me up again - There's two parts to this review: Pompeii and then the winery
Getting there:
We got picked up from our hotel in Naples around 8:30-9am if anyone needs time frame. Drive was smooth and driver was excellent. He drops us off at the guided tour check in site while we wait for our tour guide.
Pompeii:
Our tour guide Daniel was excellent. He was really passionate about the site in general and didn't overfill us with nonsense details. I could tell he loved talking about it. He showed us all the fun areas and really drove home to be respectful at all times. I learned a lot !
Winery:
Our driver took us for lunch and the wine tasting close by. It was so gorgeous. Even though the day was cloudy, I enjoyed it very much. My group opted for a quick tour around the grape areas. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable.
I actually think this was nicer than I expected. Learning all day and a nice relaxing lunch. It was slightly pricey but worth it to me.

Pompeii - Our tour guide for Pompeii was so funny. Daniel was awesome. Then we went on to a winery tour with Sophia our driver, she was amazing. The first tour was amazing and also everyone was so friendly and funny. Then we end up adding on another wine tour the last minute and it was also excellent.

Lots of information and delicious wine - Nice tour of Pompeii with delicious wine tour afterwards! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable having grown up in the area, but it was difficult to hear him at times without headsets amongst the summer crowds. The wine tour afterwards included some great wineries, and the small group nature made it easy to talk with others. We even chose to extend our wine tour to another winery because we enjoyed the small group company so much. Definitely worth checking out!
