Enjoy an extensive three-hour tour at Pompeii without the hassle of waiting in line. Traversing even more terrain than other traditional guided tours, your guide, who’s also an archaeologist, will lead you through the historic city devastated by Mount Vesuvius’ eruption nearly 2 millennia ago. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site to witness the incredible remnants of old shops, temples, and residences, including the stunning House of the Vettii. The tour concludes with a stroll atop the city fortifications, offering an expansive view of Naples and Capri. This small-group tour is kept to a maximum of 15 participants for a more intimate travel experience.
- Our group tour utilizes multiple areas that are not wheelchair/stroller accessible. Those with wheelchairs/strollers should contact us so we can arrange your visit.

Excellent way to see Pompei - Fabulous tour! Pompei is amazing but we got so much more out of our visit with such an excellent guide than we would have if we’d visited alone. With his knowledge, we could see the highlights, wander some less busy parts and get a whole lot of insight into what we were seeing, all in three hours, which was enough for us in the August heat. Plus he gave us recommendations for what to see and do afterwards, both within the Pompei site and other places nearby.
Small group, and the ear pieces are great because you can wander away from the guide to take photos etc but still hear everything he’s saying.
Highly recommend this tour!

Pompeii with Archaeologist - Please note we used GetYourGuide not Tripadviser, the communication was first class, we actually arrived early and they put us on an earlier tour so we didn't miss our return transport.
Guide was brilliant & brought everything to life, not sure you would want to explore Pompeii for the first time without a guide.

Perfection - highly recommended. Saluti Francesca. - Perfection - Francesca is a superb tour guide. I highly recommend this tour. Francesca is very professional and answered all of our questions and more. She’s very patient and we didn’t feel rushed. It was a very hot and busy day but Francesca maneuvered us through the shade and away from the crowds. I would absolutely do this tour again! Saluti Francesca.

Great tour - Ilaria was a wonderful guide. The tour was insightful and fun. It finishes in the park so most of our group left as the tour is plenty long enough and covers so much, but my partner and I were able to continue exploring on our own for a few more hours.

Great tour - Great tour. We got so much more out of the trip by having a guide. Ilaria was great, interesting, funny and knowledgeable.
The tour finishes in the park which means you can keep looking around after the tour finishes. Most of our group left but we stayed in for another couple of hours and explored on our own using the knowledge Ilaria had imparted.

Fabulous tour, excellent guide - Ilaria our guide- she was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour funny and enjoyable, she ensured we could all hear and gave us time to catch up as a group. She was clearly incredibly passionate about the history and it shone through. The tour was just the right length of time- any longer would have been too tiring in the heat!
